Check whether the remote control and cradle are set too far apart.

Check that the remote control is being pointed at the IR port located on the front of

the cradle.
Check whether the IR port located on the front of the cradle is being exposed to

strong light such as from direct sunlight or lighting equipment.
Buttons on the remote control may not function normally, depending on the UMD™.

Multiple buttons that are pressed simultaneously will not be recognized.

If the battery is exhausted, or if the remote control has not been used for a while (with

the battery removed), you may need to reset the remote control to operate with your
TV.
