Turn the receiver on by turning
the volume control button (5) In

Set the desired reception cov-
erage, using the service area
switch (2).
Tune the desired radio transmit-
ter by means of the tuning con-
trol button (6) and the tuning
scale (7).
The squelch control button (4)
can be used to suppress the
noise between the individual
radio transmitters.
Maintenance
Check the receiver for its technical safety at regular intervals, e.g.
for damage to housing.
This will automatically switch off
the built-in loudspeaker.
The POWER LED (3) will be lit.
The squelch control button (4)
needs to be turned anticlock-
wise up to the stop.
For the frequency range, note
the "Specifications".
The more the control button is
turned clockwise the more is
the noise suppressed. Turn the
control button only so as to
suppress the noise. Otherwise,
low-intensity radio transmitters
cannot be received any longer.
