In order to change the saw blade, proceed as follows:
- remove the machine's front guide E (Fig. 1)
- loosen the screws F to the front cover L (Fig. 2)
- slide the machine forward until reaching the depth stop,
and then use a screwdriver to apply a slight amount of
pressure on its fl ange in order to disengage it, thereupon
withdrawing the machine from the base (see zoom in
Fig. 2).
- turn the machine upside down, letting it rest on the
handgrip. With the protection of a leather glove, grasp
an end of the saw blade, holding it steady.
WARNING! Do not perform this operation without using
the protection of a glove.
- loosen the screws H (Fig. 4) that hold down the blade
and replace the worn-out one with a new blade of the
same characteristics.
- for reassembly, perform the preceding operations in
inverse order.
WARNING! Ensure that the saw disc bearing is com-
pletely free of glue, sawdust, dust, etc, before mounting
the new disc.
12. CONNECTING THE MACHINE
TO AN EXTERNAL ASPIRATOR
In order to connect the machine to an AS182K or AS282K
aspirator or other external aspiration source, fi x the as-
piration coupling included with the unit to the machine's
aspiration inlet U (Fig. 1).
The chosen external aspiration source may then be hooked
up to the other end of the aspiration coupling.
13. MAINTENANCE OF BRUSHES
AND COLLECTOR
WARNING! Unplug the machine from the electrical outlet
before performing any maintenance operation.
It is important that brushes be changed when they have
a minimum length of 5 mm.
Changing brushes.
Remove the screws N (Fig. 7) from the cover. Once the
cover is removed, the brushes will be visible in their housing.
Lift the springs O that hold them down and replace them
with other genuine VIRUTEX brushes, ensuring that they
slide smoothly in the inside of guides. Reassemble as
stated previously.
It is advisable to allow the machine to run for 15 minutes
in order to ensure that the brushes have properly settled
into place.
WARNING! If the collector shows signs of burns or pro-
tuberances, it should be repaired by VIRUTEX Technical
Service.
Never use emery paper for this operation.
14. LUBRICATION AND CLEANING
The machine comes fully lubricated from the factory and
does not require special care.
Always carefully clean the machine after use and pe-
riodically oil the guides P (Fig. 3), making sure they are
never left dry.
Keep the power cable in perfect condition.
Keep the machine's vent and cooling openings clean
and unobstructed.
15. NOISE AND VIBRATION LEVEL
The noise and vibration levels of this electrical device

have been measured according to the European stan dard
EN50144-1 y prEN60745-2-19.
The noise level in the workplace can exceed 85 dB(A),
in which case it is necessary for the user to take noise
protection measures.
16. WARRANTY
All VIRUTEX power tools are guaranteed for 12 months
from the date of purchase, excluding any damage which
is a result of incorrect use or of natural wear and tear on
the machine. All repairs should be carried out by the offi cial
VIRUTEX technical assistance service.

1. INSTRUCTIONS DE SÉCURITÉ POUR

ATTENTION! Avant d'utiliser la machine, lire attentivement
la BROCHURE DES INSTRUCTIONS GÉNÉRALES DE
SÉCURITÉ jointe à la documentation de la machine.
1. Vérifi er avant de brancher la machine si la tension
d'alimentation correspond à celle indiquée sur la plaque
des caractéristiques.
2. Attention, toujours maintenir les mains éloignées de
la zone de travail.
3. Ne pas prendre la machine par le dessous quand elle
est en marche.
4. Vérifi er s'il y a des clous sur la surface à couper et, si
c'est le cas, les retirer avant de commencer à travailler.
5. Contrôler si la machine recule librement sans être
bloquée. Ne jamais bloquer le mécanisme de recul.
6. Pour remplacer la lame de scie, n'utiliser que des lames
de scie d'origine.
7. Ne pas utiliser de lames de scie déformées ou cas-
sées. Ne pas employer de lames de scie en acier à
coupe rapide.
8. Débrancher la machine du secteur avant de réaliser
toute opération d'entretien.
9. Ne jamais utiliser la machine dans des endroits trop
humides ou mouillés.
10. La poussière produite par la coupe peut être toxique ou
nocive pour la santé. Toujours brancher la machine sur un
aspirateur et toujours utiliser un masque de protection
11. PIÈCES DE RECHANGE: N'utiliser que des pièces
de rechange d'origine.
