9.4 MENU „RECORD FRAME RATE"
Please also note that a higher frame rate ensures a more fluid image playback but
requires a lot more memory space at the same time.
9.5 Menu option „VIDEO QUALITY"
Please note that a high image quality requires more memory space than a lower
quality
With the help of the menu „RECORD FRAME RATE" you
can define the frames per second for each individual cam-
era input during recording.
By default, the frame rate is set to 50 frames per second for
PAL format and 60 frames per second for NTSC format.
If your settings for all camera inputs is altogether higher
than 50, the MPEG4 4-channel digital recorder automatical-
ly resets the highest value you have set to a corresponding-
ly lower one.
Use the buttons „UP" (11, 45), „DOWN" (19, 47), „LEFT"
(37), „RIGHT" (46), „REW" (13), „FWD" (16) to select the
desired camera input.
Then press the button „SEL/EDIT" (12) or „SEL" (36) to
increase the frame rate or the button „STOP" (17, 50) to
reduce the frame rate.
Via the menu option „VIDEO QUALITY" you can define the
image recording quality.
4 settings are available:
• Highest (very good image quality)
• High (good image quality)
• Normal (medium image quality)
• Low (low image quality)
Then press the button „SEL/EDIT" (12) or "SEL" (36) to set
the desired value.
