10. Maintenance
Periodically check the technical safety of the power mixer, e.g. check for damage to the power cable or the housing.
If you have reason to believe that the device can no longer be operated safely, disconnect it immediately and secure it against being operated
unintentionally. Disconnect the mains plug from the socket.
It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
•
there is visible damage to the device or to the power line,
•
the device no longer works
•
it has been stored for a long time under unfavourable conditions
•
the device has been subjected to heavy transport strain.
Always observe the following safety instructions before cleaning or servicing the power mixer:
•
Live components may be exposed if the covering is opened or components are removed.
•
The device must be disconnected from all power sources before carrying out any servicing or repair work.
•
Capacitors in the device may still be charged even after it has been disconnected from all power sources.
•
Repair work must always be carried out by specialists familiar with the hazards involved and with the relevant
regulations.
If you have to replace fuses, ensure that you only use fuses of the same type and rated current (see technical data).
You must not carry out your own repairs to fuses or bridge the fuse holder.

After disconnecting the device from the mains (disconnect mains cable!), use a suitable screwdriver to carefully prise out the fuse holder (20)
on the mains connection (21) with the defective fuse.

Remove the defective fuse and replace it with a fuse of the same type (see technical data).
3.
Now reinsert the fuse holder (20) with the new fuse into the mains connection (21).
4.
Only now should you re-connect the device to the mains and operate it.
Otherwise, the device does not need servicing. The outside should only be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth or a brush. Never use caustic cleaning
agents or chemical solutions as the surface of the housing could be damaged.
