9. Operation
•
Do not put the device into operation until your have familiarised yourself with the functions and these operating instructions.
Check again that all connections are correct.
Make sure that the connected loudspeakers and the power mixer are not overloaded. The playback should not be distorted
•
under any circumstances.
•
If the music signal is distorted in spite of the fact that the volume on the power mixer is not at a high setting, and all the
settings on the mixer are correct, then switch off the mixer immediately and check all connections. If you can find no errors
in the connection, please contact a specialist.
General
1.
Turn the controls CD / TAPE IN (5) and MASTER (7) counter-clockwise to the minimal position.
2.
Turn all devices on that are connected to the power mixer.
3.
Switch on the power mixer using the POWER (15) switch.
4.
Put the control MASTER (7) to approx. central position.
5.
Control the volume of the individual inputs with the controls LEVEL (3) so that there are no major volume differences between the different
audio sources.
6.
Afterwards, the total volume is only set with the control MASTER (7).
7.
Control the sound of the individual inputs with the controllers BASS (1) and TREBLE (2). The control TREBLE (2) sets the treble range, the
control BASS (1) the bass range.
8.
With the control CD / TAPE IN (5), set the volume of the input CD / TAPE IN (17) on the back of the device.
9.
With the controls EFFECT (12), set the share of the respective channel signal that is sent to the integrated digital effect device.
10.
With the control EFFECT (9), set the intensity of the digital effect (share of the effect signal in the total signal).
11.
With the control REPEAT (10), set the echo strength of the digital effect.
12.
With the control TIME (8), set the echo delay of the digital effect.
13.
To turn off the power mixer, first turn the controls CD / TAPE IN (5) and MASTER (7) counter-clockwise to the minimal position.
14.
Then switch the power mixer off with the switch POWER (15) and afterwards the connected devices.

A
•
Plug in a USB stick and/or insert an SD card into the corresponding port/slot. The LCD (A) will continue to display the home screen.
•
Press the "Play / Pause" button (B) to start playback. Playback will not start automatically. The LCD (A) will now show details on the current
track.
•
Press the "Rewind / previous track" button (F) to play the previous track.
•
Press and hold the "Rewind / previous track" button (F) to rewind within the current track.
•
Press the "Fast forward / next track" button (F) to play the next track.
•
Press and hold the "Fast forward / next track" button (G) to fast forward within the current track.
•
Press the "Repeat" button (H) to play all tracks of the current storage medium in a loop.
•
Press the "Equalizer" button (I) to toggle between nine different equalizer settings (E0 to E8).
•
Press the "USB / SD" button (J) to switch between playing the USB stick and the SD card. The LCD (A) will then either display "U" for USB
or "S" for SD. If only a single storage medium is connected, then the "USB / SD" button has no function.
•
The USB stick must be formatted in FAT32 format.
•
Save the MP3s in the root directory of the storage medium, do not create sub-directories.
•
Once the storage mediums are removed, the display will continue to show the information on the last track played.
