USB/SD card mode
Only insert the data media when the device is turned on and only pull them out when the device is turned
on.
•
Press the PLAY/PAUSE button (5) to start playback from the USB storage medium or from the SD memory card
and set the input sensitivity of this input with the MIXER USB/SD control (14) so that the sound is not distorted
but as loud as possible. The PLAY/PAUSE button (5) lights up blue during playback.
•
Press the PREVIOUS button (3) to play back the previous title.
•
Press the NEXT button (4) to play back the next title.
•
Press the PLAY/PAUSE button (5) to stop playback (button flashes). Press the button again to continue playback.
•
Press the USB/SD button (6) to switch between USB playback and SD card operation.
•
If only one storage medium is plugged in, the device automatically selects the correct source.
Only USB data media can be operated on the USB port (1). MP3 players with USB ports mostly switch
to PC mode when inserting them in this port. In this mode it is not possible to play back music files.
However, you can connect the audio output of an MP3 player at any time to the port LINE IN (9) with
a corresponding adapter cable.
Due to the many different data media available in the market, it might happen that some models do not
work in connection with the PA box. In this case, try to use a different data medium.
The maximum size of usable data memory cards is 2GB.
Volume and sound settings
•
Turn the MASTER VOLUME control (15) clockwise to increase the overall volume or anti-clockwise to reduce it.
•
The sound can be adjusted using the MASTER TONE control (16).
