9. Raccordement audio
L'enceinte PA est équipée d'une entrée microphone, d'une entrée/sortie Line et d'un lecteur MP3 qui vous permet
de lire des fichiers MP3 sauvegardés sur des supports USB ou des cartes SD.
Pour le raccordement, utilisez uniquement des câbles audios blindés appropriés. L'emploi
d'autres câbles pourrait provoquer des perturbations.
Pour éviter toute distorsion ou désadaptation susceptibles d'entraîner l'endommagement de
l'appareil, ne raccordez à l'entrée microphone que des microphones dynamiques ou des
microphones électrostatiques dotés de leur propre alimentation électrique. Branchez
exclusivement des appareils munis de prises Cinch (niveau Line) à l'entrée/sortie Line.
Veillez à ce que les câbles ne soient pas endommagés par des arêtes vives.
Pour le raccordement, observez également les valeurs indiquées dans les « Caractéristiques
techniques ».
Mettez l'appareil hors tension en pressant sur la touche POWER (17) avant de procéder au
branchement ou au débranchement des câbles.

Reliez votre microphone à la prise MIC (7). La prise est équipée d'une douille combinée qui permet aussi bien
le branchement de fiches jack que le branchement de fiches XLR.

Reliez la sortie de votre appareil audio source (tel qu'un lecteur CD) à la prise LINE IN (9).

Branchez l'entrée de votre enregistreur ou de votre amplificateur externe à la prise LINE OUT (8). Cette sortie
permet d'enregistrer le signal de l'enceinte PA ou de le transférer à un amplificateur externe afin de pouvoir
brancher d'autres haut-parleurs.
•
Enfichez votre support USB dans le port USB (1).
•
Introduisez votre carte SD dans la fente pour carte SD INPUT (2).
Insérez et retirez toujours les supports de mémoire uniquement lorsque l´appareil est allumé.

8. Charging the integrated batteries
Two lead gel batteries are built into the PA box which allow operation without mains supply.
The batteries must be charged before first commissioning.
To preserve the batteries, they should be recharged after each use. Further measures to extend the lifespan of the
batteries are frequent use and storing and recharging at room temperature.
Only recharge the batteries using the integrated charger. Any other way of charging may
damage or destroy the batteriies or cause fire.
Only recharge the batteries at room temperature and in a well-ventilated environment.
Do not expose the batteries to high temperatures (>50°C), as this will shorten their lifespan.
The mains outlets which the PA system is connected to must be easily accessible to quickly
disconnect the device from the mains voltage in case of an error.
•
Connect the supplied mains cable with the mains connection (19) at the rear of the device.
•
Connect the power plug to a wall outlet.
•
As soon as the PA bix is connected with the mains supply, the batteries are recharged.
•
The CHARGING display (18) flashes during charging. Once the batteries are fully recharged, the CHARGING
display (18) remains illuminated.
The PA box can also be operated during charging.
•
Charge the batteries prior to initial operation and after longer periods of non-use for approx. 48 hours to ensure
that it is fully charged.
•
Disconnect the PA box from the mains supply to end charging.
•
The PA box is ready for immediate use right after charging. The operating time with fully charged batteries is about
3 to 6 hours depending on volume.
•
In normal operation, the indicator beside the POWER switch (17) lights up in orange when the device is switched
on. If the indicator starts flashing, the rechargeable batteries will have to be recharged soon. If the device remains
in operation, an emergency switch-off deactivates the device to protect it from total discharge.
•
The batteries have a low self-discharge, i.e. it discharges slowly when the device is not in operation. For this
reason, you should recharge the batteries every 2 months if you do not use the device for longer periods of time.
