Installation
• Remove the two set screws of the retaining ring, using the provided Allen key.
After this, remove the retaining ring.
• For the connection cable, an appropriately large hole can be drilled at the mounting
site (when you plug the jack, protect it against dust and dirt with something like a
piece of tape).
• The retaining ring can be secured at the mounting site with 4 screws. Use suitable
screws and wall plugs, depending on the surface.
Make sure when screwing into place or when drilling holes that cables or wires
are not damaged.
• Place the camera in the holding ring and secure it with the set screws removed at the
beginning.
Important:
The adjustment or direction of the camera is carried out by loosening the two
set screws a little way.
Then the spherical camera can be directed toward the monitoring area.
Finally, screw in the two set screws again fi rmly.
The camera should not be pointed directly towards bright sources of light or
the sun, since this will overexpose the image.
For outdoor use we recommend to choose a location that is protected from
rain (e.g. under the eaves) to prevent the formation of droplets on the cam-
era's front panel that will cause a distorted and unusable image.
