12. Maintenance and Cleaning

The product is maintenance-free except for an occasional change of the batteries in the IR remote control; therefore
never disassemble the product.
The product should only be repaired by a specialist or specialist workshop or it might be damaged. Furthermore, the
CE approval will become void as well as the guarantee/warranty.
Before cleaning, unplug the power adapter from the mains socket.
Clean the product with a soft, dry and lint-free cloth. Do not use cleaning agents; they can be aggressive on the plastic
housing and the labelling.
Dust can be easily removed with a soft, clean brush and a vacuum cleaner.

13. Disposal

a) General information

At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.

b) Batteries and rechargeable batteries

The end user is legally obliged (battery regulation) to return used batteries and rechargeable batteries.
Do not throw used batteries into the household waste!

Batteries/rechargeable batteries containing harmful substances are marked with the following symbols
which point out that the disposal via the household waste is prohibited. The markings for hazardous
heavy metals are: Cd=cadmium, Hg=mercury, Pb=lead (name on battery/rechargeable battery, e.g.
under the rubbish bin icons on the left).

You can return your exhausted batteries/rechargeable batteries free of charge to any authorized
disposal station in your area, in our stores or in any other store where batteries/rechargeable batteries
are sold.
Thus, you comply with legal obligations and make your contribution to protecting the environment.
