10. Operation

a) Switching the TV-Box on and off

Switch the TV-Box on or off via the power button (I) on the remote control or on the upper side of the device (13).

When the TV-Box is switched off, the VGA signal of a connected computer is automatically looped in
(and the audio signal at the 3.5-mm audio input next to the VGA input on the TV box), provided the
computer is switched on.
b) Input selection
You can use the TV/AV (E) button on the remote control or at the TV-Box (14) to select the desired input (TV, CVBS/
video, component connection, S-video).
A picture-in-picture function can be started via the Mode button (M). The picture of the currently active input (e.g. TV-
tuner) will then be displayed in the VGA picture of a computer (selectable with TV/AV button (E)), read also chapter
10. m in this context).

If no signal is received at the selected input, no picture will be displayed. You may see picture noise
for TV channels which have not yet been programmed when selecting the TV input.

c) Opening the Setup menu

You can press the Setup button (B) to open the Setup menu of the TV-Box. Here you can program channels, control
brightness/contrast and other settings.

Depending on whether the picture of the TV tuner is presently active or one of the other inputs (e.g. S-
video), more or fewer settings options may be available (e.g. TV channel programming is only possible
if the TV picture is displayed).
The arrow buttons " " and " " (C) are for selecting a menu, the "OK" button (C) confirms the selected function.
Use the arrow buttons " " and " " (C) to make settings within a menu (e.g. changing brightness or contrast etc.).
Press the ESC button (D) to return to the previous menu.
When you press the ESC button (D) in the main menu, you will leave the Setup menu.
