d) TV channel programming

Read chapter 10. a) for information on menu control.
First activate the TV tuner (press TV/AV button (E) several times until you see picture noise and a channel display
in the upper left corner). Now press the Setup button (B).
Use the arrow buttons " " and " " to select "TV Setup", then confirm with the OK button (C).
Via "Set Area" you can select the frequency range for your country. Press OK to confirm your selection and leave
the menu via the ESC button (D).
Via "Scan Channel" (confirm with OK) the channel programming is started. Use the arrow buttons " " and " " to
switch between "TableScan" (searching channels, very fast search function) and "FullScan" (frequency search, slow
search, finds also very weak TV channels). Start the search run with OK.
Afterwards all channels that have been found are saved automatically.
Via "Channel Favorites" you can add certain channels (e.g. sport channel) to your favourites. You can access them
very quickly later by pressing the "Favorite" button (F) followed by a number button.
The "Channel Remapping" function not only allows you to hide unwanted channels (using the arrow buttons " " and
" ", a "+" signs indicates an activated channel, a "-" a deactivated channel), but you can also change the channel
order. Select a channel via the arrow buttons " " and " " and confirm with OK. Now you can move the selected
channel to the desired position using the arrow buttons " " and " ". Confirm the action with OK.
The "Channel Setup" function allows several settings to be made for the selected channel, e.g. fine tuning of the
channel, selecting the TV standard (e.g. PAL) and the audio standard (e.g. stereo). You should set these functions
to "AUTO".

e) Settings

• Press the Setup button (B).
• Use the arrow buttons " " and " " to select "Setup", then confirm with the OK button.
• Via "OSD Position" you can choose the position for the OSD (on-screen display) using the four arrow buttons,
confirm with OK.
• "Display Mode" allows you to select the resolution which the TV-Box transmits to the connected monitor (e.g.
1280*1024 at 60Hz).
Please note: The monitor must support this resolution or it can be damaged. Please observe the manual
of your monitor.
• Via "Language" you can select the language for the OSD.
• The "Output Level" function allows you to adjust the output level for the VGA output of the TV-Box. You can set
the level to a value between "0.7Vss" and "1Vss". If the picture at the VGA monitor is too dark, you can select
"1Vss".
