d) Programming example
This chapter contains a programming example for your code lock.
Please note that this is only one of many ways that you can program your system.
We recommend that you replace the sample codes used here with your own
codes. Use the example for guidance and enter your personal code into the
tables in the fold-out section at the end. Store it in a safe place to prevent
anyone from using your personal codes.
The code lock is to be programmed with the following settings:
• Master code
• User code 1
• User code 2
• User code 3
• Relay 1 should disengage after 5 seconds.
• Relay 2 should engage after entry of the user code (6854#) and only disengage when
the user code (6854#) is entered once more.
• Output 3 should function in the same manner as relay 2 (user code 3 9270#), but may
also be engaged using the short code (92#).
• If the wrong code is entered 10 times, then the system should lockout for 30 seconds.
• If the connection between the "DOOR SENS" (3) and ground terminals is interrupted,
then the base unit should generate an alarm.
• If, after user code 1 has been entered, the connection between the "DOOR SENS"
(3) and ground terminals remains open for longer than 60 seconds then the code lock
should signal an alarm.
