Preparation
WARNING:
The spotlight is made of brass with nickel alloy. Nickel can cause allergic reactions. If
you have already experienced a nickel allergy you should avoid direct physical contact
with the spotlight In this case use gloves or a cloth when working with the spotlight.
ATTENTION:
If you use the spotlight underwater and due to temperatures below freezing, it is fro-
zen in the layer of ice, housing and glass lens can be damaged. Consequently always
position the spotlight in such a manner that it cannot be frozen into the pond if tempe-
ratures drop below freezing. If necessary take the spotlight out of the water if freezing
temperatures are forecast.
The following always applies:
Do not leave the spotlight unattended if children or other persons, who are unable to
assess the risks, are in the vicinity.
The spotlight is not designed for use by persons (including children) with restricted
physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or with insufficient experience and/or
knowledge, unless such persons are supervised by a person who is responsible for
their safety, or if they have received instructions on how to use the device from the
person who is responsible for their safety.
Preparation
Unpack the complete scope of delivery and check the contents for completeness and
integrity. Equipment overview
Always transport/send the spotlight in its original packaging, to avoid damage. Keep the
packaging material for this purpose.
Dispose of packaging material, that is no longer needed, in compliance with applicable
regulations. If you discovered transport damage you should immediately contact the
dealer from whom you had purchased the spotlight.
Mounting variants
You can choose from various mounting variants. You must either mount one of the bases
for individual fastening in various environments, or you may use the brass dowel
(Fig. 1/9) for direct mounting of the spot to wooden or stone bases. The following bases
are available:

Floor mounting base (Fig. 1/5): For durable and stable fastening on various bases
made of stone or wood or on the walls of buildings.

Floor plate (Fig. 1/10): For use under water. The floor plate offers sufficient space for
placing weights to avoid undesired buoyancy.

Spit (Fig. 1/11): For use in loose bases like earth or sand.
