Hazards involved with the handling of this system

The filter system has been built according to the state of the art and recognized safety regulations.
Nevertheless, use of the system, in particular in the event of incorrect operation or misuse, may still lead
to:
Danger to the life and limb of the operator or third party and/or

damage to/impairment of the system or
►
other damage to assets.

All persons involved in the installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance and servicing/repair of
the system must:
Be mentally and physically suited to the work involved.
►
Have been instructed in the handling of the system.
►
Have read this operating manual thoroughly and in detail.
►
CAUTION!
Only use the filter system:
For its intended use.
►
In a perfect technical condition in accordance with the safety regulations.
►
In the event of malfunctions which may impair the safety of the system, always call in a specialist
►
(qualified electrician or plant fitter/plumber).

Hazard sources

If the max. operating pressure of 2.5 bar or the operating temperature of 40°C is exceeded, this may
cause damage to the system.
Work on the system may only be performed once the system is shut down and the supply and return
valves have been closed. Risk of damaging the pump.
The filter system may only be put into operation once it has been ensured that the pump will be
continuously supplied with water during operation. Ensure that the volume of water supplied at least
meets the delivery rate of the pump (see Technical Data).
Risk of burns!
CAUTION!
The electrical equipment of the system is subject to high voltage. Therefore, observe the following
instructions:
Work on the electrical equipment may only be performed by qualified electricians.

The electrical equipment of the system must be regularly checked and tested.
►
Loose connections and damaged components must be fastened or replaced immediately.
►
Isolate the system before performing any maintenance work.
There is a risk of injury to persons and damage to the system.
Never remove safety devices/guards or disable them by performing modifications to the system.
