Setting of the bicycle computer
Establishing diameter of wheel
To ensure precise measurements, the exact diameter of
the wheel must be determined. Either measure the cir-
cumference of the wheel immediately or measure the
diameter of the front wheel (the external contour of the
tyre is included in the measurement).
Using the formula
Circumference of wheel = c
Diameter
= d
Circle number
= (π) approx. 3.1416
c = d · π
the exact diameter of the wheel can be calculated. The
established diameter of the wheel must be entered in the
device in millimetres (4-digits). The maximum diameter
of the wheel which can be entered is 2999 mm. A further
method, which is, however, less exact, is to make a thick
chalk mark on the external contour of the tyre. Roll the
wheel in the direction of travel, until two chalk marks can
be seen on the road. Use a measuring tape to measure
the distance between the two chalk marks and enter the
established value in the bicycle computer.

Sélection entre kilomètres (KM) et miles (M).
Après avoir inséré la pile dans le compteur vélo, un
nombre à quatre caractères s'affiche à l'écran. Au bout
de 4 secondes, le dernier chiffre du nombre commence
à compter en clignotant. Appuyez une fois sur la touche
de fonction du compteur vélo dès que le dernier chiffre
affiché à l'écran est conforme au dernier chiffre de la
circonférence de la roue prédéfinie.
Le chiffre suivant (situé à droite) commence à compter.
Actionnez une fois la touche de fonction dès que le chif-
fre correct est affiché. Répétez ce procédé jusqu'à ce
