3. Perforate the marked screw holes inside the plastic bracket (see the dotted line in the
illustration below) using a pointed object. Be careful when doing so. This poses a risk of
injury.
4. Use the plastic bracket as a template and mark the position of both drill holes on the wall
through the perforated screw holes.
When drilling or tightening screws, make sure not to damage any cables,
wires or pipes located underneath the surface.
5. Drill both holes in the wall and insert the screw anchors.
6. Insert the white rubber seal into the matching opening of the plastic bracket. Make sure the
rubber seal sits tight, so no water can enter the inside of the plastic bracket.
7. Then punch a small hole in the rubber seal.
Make sure that you do not cut too large a hole in the rubber seal. Otherwise, water
may enter the product housing and cause short-circuiting.
Use an appropriate sealing agent (such as silicone) to seal up the hole if it is too
large.
8. Guide the mains cable through the rubber seal.
9. Use the two long screws to mount the plastic bracket to the wall.
10. Connect the electrical wire to the terminal block inside the base:
Brown cable = L
Blue cable = N
Green/yellow cable = PE/ground wire, grounding symbol
The ground wire must be connected to the terminal block under all
circumstances.
If the product is serving as a replacement for an existing light and there is
no ground wire, do not install the product. First install the appropriate supply
leads.
If no ground wire is connected, there will be voltage applied to the metal
product housing in the event of an error. This poses a risk of fatal injury due
to electric shock!
Make sure that the cables are not bare for too long as this may cause short-
circuiting.
Make sure that all screw connections on both sides of the terminal block
are tight.
11. Attach the terminal block to the pins inside the plastic bracket.
12. Place the housing on the plastic brackets according to the drawing below.
Correct placement
Make sure that the cables are not squeezed, bent or damaged in any other
way. Do not exert any force when installing the product.
13. Attach the housing to the plastic bracket using the short screw.
14. Turn on power to the circuit and check to see if the product works.
If the LEDs do not light up, turn off power to the circuit immediately (turn off
circuit breaker and/or automatic fuse).
Then check the connection to the power circuit.
In case of doubt, contact a professional (i.e. an electrician).
Incorrect placement
PIR sensor settings
• You may adjust the detection range and operating time at the bottom of the PIR sensor.
• The SENS control for adjusting the detection range is located on the right.
• The TIME control for adjusting the operating time is located on the left.
• Use a flat and slim tool for adjustment, such asa flat head screwdriver.
- Turn the control counter-clockwise till the end in order to select the minimum setting.
- Turn the control clockwise till the end in order to select the maximum setting.

Maintenance and cleaning

Never use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions, as such would
damage the housing (discolorations).
Never point a water jet, for example such of high-pressure cleaning
equipment, at the lamp, as that could damage the seals!
• Besides occasional cleaning, the device is maintenance-free.
• Turn off the product and let it cool down sufficiently before cleaning.
• Use a clean, soft and dry cloth to clean the housing. For more stubborn dirt, slightly moisten
the cloth with a little lukewarm water.
• Do not apply too much pressure to the housing or light outlet as doing so may cause
scratches.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household
waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory
regulations.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
