Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Die Batteriebetriebene Kopflampe dient zur Beleuchtung des unmittelbarem Umfeldes bei
Feinarbeiten oder bei Arbeiten bei dem man beide Hände benötigt. Die Kopflampe ist sprit-
zwassergeschützt und eignet sich deshalb ideal für den Camping- oder Hobbyeinsatz. Durch
die Klemmhalterung kann die Lampe fast überall befestigt und über das Kugelgelenk optimal
ausgerichtet werden. Ein verstellbares Kopfband liegt der Lampe bei, um diese bei einem
Arbeitseinsatz an einem Hut oder am Kopf zu befestigen. Dadurch hat man beide Hände frei.
Ein Leuchtmittelwechsel ist nicht erforderlich.
Die Kopflampe ist nicht explosionsgeschützt und darf deshalb nicht in explosionsgefährdeten
Bereichen (EX) eingesetzt werden.
Richten Sie den Leuchtkegel niemals gegen Menschen oder Tiere; durch die extrem helle
Lichtquelle können diese geblendet werden, es kann so zu kurzzeitigen Sehschwierigkeiten
kommen.
Beachten Sie die Hinweise in den einzelnen Kapiteln.
Einsetzen / Wechseln der Batterien
Zum Betrieb der Kopflampe sind drei Alkaline Batterien vom Typ AAA erforderlich. Diese sind
nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten. Zum Einsetzen bzw. Wechseln gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
Drehen Sie die Verschlußkappe wie Abgebildet in Pfeilrichtung 1
- Ziehen Sie die Verschlußkappe von der Lampe und entfernen den Batteriehalter in
Pfeilrichtung 2 aus der Kopflampe (dieser rutscht beim Kippen selbsttätig aus dem Gehäuse).
- Setzen Sie nun 3 neue Batterien Polungsrichtig in den Batteriehalter. Die Polarität kann sehr
einfach erkannt werden: der Minuspol der Batterie muss immer zu den Kontaktfedern zeigen.
- Schieben Sie nun den Batteriehalter, mit den beiden abstehenden Kontakten zuerst, wieder
in das Gehäuse.
ACHTUNG! Der Batteriehalter passt nur in einer bestimmten Lage in das Gehäuse. Halten Sie
die Kopflampe nach unten und setzen den Batteriehalter ohne Kraftaufwand in das Gehäuse.
Drehen Sie nun den Batteriehalter, bis er selbsttätig ins Gehäuse rutscht.
- Setzen Sie die Verschlußkappe mit der Markierung wieder auf das Gehäuse und drehen die-
sen in entgegengesetzter Richtung bis eine spürbare Rastung erfolgt.
Inbetriebnahme
Zur Inbetriebnahme der Kopflampe drehen Sie einfach den gummierten Leuchtenkopf mit der
Pfeilmarkierung in Position ON (=ein).
Das Weiße Licht in Leuchtdioden wird über ein zusammengesetztes Lichtspektrum erzeugt
und kann in unterschiedlichen Entfernungen zu leichten Farbverläufen (Blaufärbung) führen.
Dies ist Bauartbedingt und kann nicht beanstandet werden.
Zum Ausschalten drehen Sie diesen in Position OFF (=aus).
Achtung!
Wird die Kopflampe längere Zeit nicht benutzt bzw. längere Zeit gelagert,
so entnehmen Sie bitte die Batterien aus der Lampe, da selbst auslaufge-
schützte Batterien korrodieren können und dadurch Ihre Lampe zerstören.
Verwendung der Klemm- und Kopfhaltevorrichtung
Die Kopflampe besitzt eine Klemmvorrichtung mit Kugelgelenk; dadurch ist eine universelle
Befestigung und optimale Ausleuchtung des gewünschten Bereiches möglich.
Im Lieferumfang befindet sich eine Kopf-/ Helmhalterung, an welche die Kopflampe ebenfalls
befestigt werden kann.
Das Kopfband ist zweifach universell einstellbar und somit für jede Kopf- oder Helmgröße passend.
Zur Einstellung schieben Sie die Kunststoffspanner einfach vor oder zurück.
Achtung!
Stellen Sie das Kopfband so ein, dass es fest aber bequem zu tragen ist, um Kopfschmerzen
beim Tragen zu vermeiden.

Cap Lamp

Intended Use
The battery-powered cap lamp is used to illuminate your direct vicinity when performing works
requiring accuracy or the use of both your hands. The cap lamp is splash-proof and is thus ide-
ally suited for applications in camping or hobby environments. Equipped with a clamp, the
lamp can be attached almost anywhere and it can be optimally adjusted via its ball-and-sok-
ket joint. The lamp is supplied with an adjustable head brace for wearing it around a helmet or
directly around your head when performing works. You will always have your hands free.
The luminous substance need not be changed.
Since the cap lamp is not explosion-proof, it must not be used in potentially explosive envi-
ronments (EX).
Never direct the conical light beam at persons or animals. Due to the extremely bright lumi-
nous source, they may be blinded and experience momentary defects of vision.
Please observe the information provided in the individual chapters.
Inserting/Changing the Batteries
The cap lamp is powered by three type AAA alkaline batteries. The batteries are not included
in the scope of delivery. Proceed as follows to insert or change the batteries:
- Turn the sealing cap in the direction of arrow 1 as shown in the figure.
- Pull the sealing cap off the lamp and remove the battery tray from the cap lamp in the direc-
tion of arrow 2 (it will slide out of the housing by itself when tilting the lamp).
- Now place 3 new batteries in the battery tray. Be sure to insert them with the correct pola-
rity. The polarity is very easy to see: the negative battery pole must always point towards the
contact springs.
- Now slide the battery tray back into the housing, head first with the two contacts that stick
out.
CAUTION! The battery tray fits into the housing in a specific position only. Hold the cap lamp
downward and insert the battery tray into the housing without exerting any force. Now turn
the battery tray until it slides into the housing by itself.
- Place the sealing cap on the housing (with the marking aligned) and turn it in the direction
opposite to that indicated by arrow 1 until you feel it snap in.
Taking the Lamp into Operation
To take the cap lamp into operation, simply turn the rubberised lamp head in the direction of
the arrow to the ON position.
The white light in light-emitting diodes is a combination of every colour in the visible spectrum
and may lead to slight blue gradients in varying distances.
This is due to the design and does not give cause for complaint.
To switch off the lamp, turn the lamp head to the OFF position.
Using the Clamp and the Head Brace
The cap lamp is equipped with a clamp and a ball-and-socket joint facilitating universal attach-
ment and optimum illumination of the desired area.
The scope of delivery includes a head/helmet brace that can be attached to the lamp.
The head brace features two universal adjusting mechanisms and can thus be fitted to any
head or helmet size.
To adjust the brace, simply slide the plastic tensioning device forward or backward.
Caution!
To avoid a headache when wearing the lamp, adjust the head brace such that it is tight but still
comfortable to wear.

Caution!
If the cap lamp is not used or stored for an extended period of time, plea-
se remove the batteries from the lamp since even batteries protected
against leaking may corrode and destroy your lamp.
