The storage battery might be defective or weak or used. (see chapters "Repla-
cing the Storage Batteries" or Charging the Storage Batteries!)
An error of the electronics occurs. Send the Solar Garden Lamp in!

When choosing the place of installation, please make sure that the Solar Garden
Lamp will be exposed to direct sunlight for a longer period of time (approx. 2-3 days)!
Insolation must hit the solar cell DIRECTLY! Please observe the angle of insolation in
the morning, afternoon and evening!
If the storage battery is charged at a diagonal angle of insolation, with shadow due to
trees or plants or with little sunlight (cloudy) or only daylight or artificial light, this
might involve a longer charging time.
Commissioning
On the bottom of the housing (solar cell) there is a sliding switch. Set the sliding
switch to position "OFF"! The Garden Lamp is switched off. Now, the Garden Lamp
(storage battery) is charged during the day or for several days (as described above)
via the solar cell.
Set the sliding switch to position "ON" if the charging process is finished! The Gar-
den Lamp is switched on automatically as soon as it is dark and lights until it is day-
time. The storage battery will be charged during daytime and the Garden Lamp will
be switched on as soon as it is dark.
This will be continued until the sliding switch is set to position "OFF" or until the sto-
rage battery is empty.
Please observe: If there is not enough sunlight the following days, the storage
batteries will not be recharged sufficiently! The storage battery capacity further
decreases with each switching on of the Solar Garden Lamp, i.e. the lighting
time decreases until the storage battery has almost no capacity, so that the
low-voltage cut-off is released which protects the storage battery against total
discharge.
If the lighting time decreases more and more, the storage batteries of the Solar
Garden Lamp have to be charged at direct sunlight, as described above!

Installation

Make sure that the Solar Garden Lamp is installed at a place with sufficient direct
sunlight for a longer period of time without shadow e.g. due to plants etc.
Please install the lamp by means of the enclosed earth bar.
