1. Intended use
The Laser is intended for generating laser lighting effects and is operated with the inbuilt controller. It is intended
for professional use only. This product must be supplied with power only by the power adaptor included here.
The safety regulations and standards for laser operation must be complied with at all times. The product may
be used only indoors, never outdoors. Contact with moisture, for example in bathrooms, must be avoided.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use the product
for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In addition, improper use can
cause hazards such as short circuiting, fire, electric shock etc. Read the instructions carefully and keep them.
Make this product available to third parties only together with its operating instructions.
Warning, this product includes a powerful laser. If the safety instructions are not observed,
there is a high risk of injury.

3. Safety instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety information. If
you do not follow the safety instructions and information on proper handling in this manual,
we assume no liability for any resulting personal injury or damage to property. Such cases
will invalidate the warranty/guarantee.
Persons / Product
• The user must comply with the relevant national accident prevention regulations for electrical equipment.
• This product may only be assembled, commissioned and operated by suitably qualified professionals and
only in compliance with the requirements stated in this operating manual.
• Adjustments or maintenance should only be carried out by trained professionals who are aware of the
dangers. Improperly executed adjustments might result in dangerous laser radiation.
• For safety reasons, any unauthorised conversion and/or modification to the product is not permitted.
• Before the product is first put into operation, the operator must notify the responsible accident insurer and
the public authority responsible for occupational health and safety (generally the industrial inspectorate)
and name a person who will be accountable for laser safety.
• When operating the laser equipment, always make sure that the laser beam is directed so that no one is in
the projection area and that unintentional reflected beams (e.g. from reflective objects) cannot be directed
into areas where people are present.
• Laser radiation can be dangerous, if the laser beam or its reflection enters unprotected eyes. Therefore,
before using the laser equipment, familiarise yourself with the statutory regulations and instructions for
operating such a laser device.
• Never look into the laser beam and never point it at people or animals. Laser radiation may result in injuries
to the eyes or skin.
• Do not point the laser beam at mirrors or other reflective surfaces. The uncontrolled, reflected beam may
strike people or animals.
• Never leave the laser in operation unattended.
• If possible, restrict the range of radiation by using screens or partitions.
• Mark the range of the laser by barriers or by using warning signs.
• Wherever possible, direct the laser in such a way that it does not cross eye level.
• Caution: if operation settings or procedures other than those described here in these instructions are used,
it could result in exposure to dangerous radiation.
• This product is provided with a Class 3R Laser. Laser signs in different languages are included in the
package. If the sign on the laser is not written in the language of your country, please affix the appropriate
sign onto the laser.

• Never look directly into the laser beam when the device is in operation. The intense light rays could
temporarily impair your eyesight. Moreover, they may trigger epileptic seizures for vulnerable persons. This
applies in particular to epileptics.
• If laser radiation enters your eyes, close your eyes immediately and move your head away from the beam.
• If your eyes have been irritated by laser radiation, do not continue to carry out tasks with safety implications,
such as working with machines, working from great heights or close to high voltage. Also, do not operate
any vehicles until the irritation has completely subsided.
• The device contains no parts that are to be serviced by the user. Therefore, do not open the device.
• As power supply, only use the supplied mains adaptor.
• Only connect the power adaptor to a normal mains socket connected to the public supply. Before plugging
in the power adaptor, check whether the voltage stated on the power adaptor complies with the voltage of
your electricity supplier.
• Never connect or disconnect power adaptors if your hands are wet.
• Never unplug the power adaptor from the mains socket by pulling on the cable; always use the grips on
the plug.
• For safety reasons, disconnect the power adaptor from the mains socket during storms.

• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become dangerous playing material
for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high humidity, moisture,
flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and protect it from any
accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height can damage the product.
• Never pour liquids over electrical appliances and never leave objects filled with liquids (e.g. vases) in the
vicinity of the device. You run the risk of causing a fi re or a fatal electric shock. If liquids enter the device,
immediately disconnect it from the power supply, unplug the power supply unit from the mains and consult
an expert.
• Do not place open flames, such as burning candles, on or close to the device.
• Do not leave the device in operation when it is unattended. For safety reasons, unplug from the mains
socket after each operation.
• Do not use the device in a tropical climate.
• Also observe any further safety instructions in the individual sections of this operating guide.
Miscellaneous
• Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the device.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed exclusively by an expert or at a qualified shop.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating instructions, contact our technical
support service or other technical personnel.

5. Installation/Setup
The assembly and the installation of the device must be carried out by a specialist who is
familiar with the hazards and the relevant regulations. Repairs, operation and maintenance
of the product may only be carried out by qualified personnel.
Take care not to place or install the device where it will be exposed to shaking, vibration,
dust, heat, cold and moisture. Furthermore, keep the product away from strong
transformers or motors.
The device must be mounted out of normal reach.
When installing the product ensure that the adaptor's power cord is not jammed or
damaged by sharp edges.
During installation and service work, the area below the installation location must be
cordoned off.
The installation surface, or mounting fixture, must be designed so that it can withstand 10
times the loading capacity for at least 1 hour without permanent damaging deformation.
It is also essential that the device is secured by means of a second safety restraint, which is
independent of the proper mounting supports, when it is installed in an elevated position. If
the main supports fail, no part of the installation should be able to falling down.
Observe all the relevant regulations when mounting/installing the device.
Keep a free area of 15 cm around the housing to ensure unhindered heat dissipation.
Otherwise, the laser may overheat.
To ensure sufficient ventilation, do not cover the device. In addition, the air circulation must
not be obstructed by objects such as magazines, tablecloths, curtains or similar.
Installation approval
• Before using for the first time and after any significant modifications, the installation (including the electrical
connections) must be checked by a specialist.
• An annual check by a technical expert is required.
• At least every four years, an acceptance inspection must be carried out by a technical expert.
