LED Mirror Ball Station

This product complies with the applicable National and European specifications.
Intended Use
The LED mirror ball station serves to generate light effects on dance floors, in party basements, stages etc.
in the home sector.
This product may only be connected to the enclosed power pack. The power pack may only be connected
to a mains outlet with 230-240V~/50Hz of the public electricity supply network. No other use is permitted.
It can only be used in closed rooms, and therefore not outdoors. Contact with moisture must be avoided at
all times.
Any use other than that described above could lead to damage to this product and involves the risk of short
circuits, fire, electric shock, etc.
No part of the product can be modified or rebuilt.
The safety instructions must be observed at all times.
Safety instructions
The warranty will lapse for damage due to non-compliance with these operating
instructions. We will not assume liability for any resulting damage.
We shall not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by
incorrect handling or non-compliance with the safety instructions. The warranty is
voided in these cases.
An exclamation mark in a triangle means there are important instructions you should
read. Please read the operating instructions through completely before putting the
device into operation. They contain important information for correct operation.
Please handle mains voltage with special care. There is a danger of a life-threatening
electric shock.
• Prior to commissioning, check the device for damage. If the device is damaged, it may not be put into
operation.
• For safety and licensing (CE) reasons, unauthorised conversion and/or modifications to the product are
not permitted.
• The LED mirror ball station is constructed in protection class III and may only be operated with the
enclosed power pack.
• The power unit has been constructed in protection class II and may only be operated on a public power
supply outlet.
• The power unit may never be plugged in or unplugged with wet hands.
•
The device is still connected with the mains when it is switched off. To disconnect it from the power supply
completely, the mains adapter must be pulled out from the mains socket.
• Never operate the effect lamp without supervision.
• Do not look straight into the light rays during operation. The light rays could lead to brief sight problems.
They can furthermore possibly cause epileptic fits. Of course, this applies particularly for epileptics.
• Always check the device from time to time for damage. Do not touch the power pack, the LED mirror ball
station or the connection cable if they show visible damage. First, power-off the corresponding mains
socket (e.g. via the respective circuit-breaker) and afterwards carefully pull the mains unit from the socket.
Do not use the product afterwards, but take it to a specialist workshop.
• Never replace a damaged connecting cable of the power unit. If the connecting cable is damaged, the
power unit is unusable and must be disposed of. Repairs are not permitted.
• Avoid subjecting the telephone to severe mechanical stress. Do not expose it to high temperatures, strong
vibration, high degrees of humidity or dripping or spray water.
• Never position vessels or containers containing liquids, such as glasses, buckets, vases or plants, in the
direct vicinity of the product. Liquid could get inside the housing and impair electrical safety. There is
furthermore a high risk of fire or of a life-threatening electric shock. In such a case, switch off the mains
socket to which the product is connected (e.g. switch off automatic fuse) and unplug the power pack from
the mains socket. Afterwards, the product must no longer be used, bring it to a specialist workshop.
• The product is not a toy and should be kept out of reach of children! Children cannot judge the dangers
involved, when dealing with electrical devices.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become dangerous playing material
for children.
• Use the device only in moderate climate regions and not in tropical ones.
• Observe also the safety instructions in the individual sections of this operating guide.
• If you are not sure about the correct connection or if questions arise which are not covered by the operating
instructions, please do not hesitate to contact our technical support or another specialist.
Installation/Setup
The LED mirror ball station can be placed on a level surface or suspended with the hook on the base plate.

• Set up the mirror ball station on a level area.
• Alternatively, you can also suspend the LED mirror ball station with the suspension clamp on the bottom
of the casing and suitable suspension material.
• Only use suitable suspension material and observe the safety instructions!
Connecting the power supply/commissioning
• Plug the low-voltage plug of the power unit into the connection socket on the bottom of the device.
• Plug the mains plug into the wall socket.
• Switch the light effect on with the switch on the back of the device:
Position I: Device is turned on.
Position 0: Device is switched off.
Care and maintenance
The product should be cleaned off regularly to remove dust or similar.
The outside of the device should be cleaned with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth only.
Never use caustic cleaning agents or chemical solutions as the surface of the housing/the mirror ball could
be damaged.
Due to the long service life of the LEDs, there is no need to change the light bulbs.

The assembly and installation of the effect lamp may only be carried out by an
accordingly qualified specialist.
When carrying out installation or service works, make sure that the area below the
installation site is blocked off if you want to suspend the ball.
Never install the product in the vicinity of combustible or easily inflammable materials,
(e.g. curtains, decorative material etc.)! Keep a free space of at least 50 cm around the
device for unhindered air circulation.
The mirror ball must be hung up so that it can freely rotate; it may not come into contact
with other surfaces or objects under any circumstances!
Please make sure the appliance is sufficiently ventilated (never cover it!).
Always place the appliance on a stable base. Ensure that it does not fall down and
causes injury.
With suspended installation, the installation surface or mounting fixture needs to be
dimensioned in such a way that it can bear 10 times its load capacity for at least 1 hour
without damaging deformation.
It is essential that the device is furthermore secured by a second safety suspension
(e.g. safety catch) which is independent from the actual installation fixture. If the main
supports fail, no part of the installation should be able to fall down.
The LED mirror ball station may not be installed in the reach of persons.
Check whether the available mains voltage coincides with the voltage range indicated
on the power pack.
The wall outlet must also be easily accessible after the power pack is plugged in to
ensure its fast and safe disconnection from the mains network in case of malfunctioning.
Make sure that the connection cable is not being pinched or damaged by sharp edges.
Light effect devices are not suitable for permanent use. The strict keeping to operation
pauses increases the service life of the product significantly.
If the device is not in use, disconnect the power pack unit or press the all-pole switch
(with a contact gap of 3 mm) to disconnect the device from any power supply.
Always pull the power unit out of the mains socket before cleaning the effect lamp.
Do not fail to prevent penetration of wetness or dampness into the device.
When the product is no longer usable, dispose of it in accordance with the applicable statutory
regulations.
