Disposal

If the appliance has become unusable, dispose of it in accor-
dance with the current statutory regulations.
Disposal of spent batteries/rechargeable batteries
You, as the end user, are legally obliged (Battery Ordinance) to return
all used batteries and rechargeable batteries. Disposal in the house-
hold waste is prohibited!
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection
of the environment.

Troubleshooting

In purchasing the 8 in 1 universal remote control, you have acquired a
product which has been designed to the state of the art and is opera-
tionally reliable.
Problems and malfunctions may, however, still arise.
We would therefore like to describe how you can eliminate certain mal-
functions yourself.
Observe the safety instructions at all times.
Your device brand is not listed in the code list.
• Try the manual and/or automatic search.
You cannot control your devices with the universal remote control.
• Try all the codes which are listed for your brand in the code list .
• Try the manual and/or automatic search.
The universal remote control does not carry out the commands
correctly.
• It is possible that you are using an incorrect code. Try another code for
your device brand.
• VTry the manual and/or automatic search.
You have problems changing channel with the number keys (13).
• Enter the programme number exactly as you would with your original
remote control.
The universal remote control does not react when keys are
pressed.
• Direct the universal remote control at the device to be controlled.
• Use new batteries.

Batteries and rechargeable batteries containing
hazardous substances are marked with the symbols
shown, indicating that they must not be disposed of
in the household waste. The designations for the
relevant heavy metals are: Cd = cadmium, Hg =
mercury, Pb = lead. You can hand in your used bat-
teries at the public collection points in your area at
no cost or everywhere where batteries are sold.
