Automatic code search

The automatic code search checks all preprogrammed codes in order to
find the code which can be used to control your device. This method
may take several minutes.
• Switch on your TV (not on standby).
• Press the TV device key (8).
• Point the universal remote control at your TV.
• Hold down the SET key (12) and press the ON/OFF button for four
seconds (1), until the transmission display (2) flashes.
• Let go of both buttons.
• The universal remote control then carries out the automatic code
search.
• As soon as the TV switches off, the correct code has been found.
• Then immediately press any key in order to save the code which has
been found.
• The transmission display (2) ceases flashing.
SET
• Your universal remote control is now programmed to control your TV.
• You can check the code by pressing the ON/OFF key (1). Press other
usable keys as well. If this doesn't work, repeat the programming
steps.
• To programme other devices, repeat the steps described for your
video recorder, your satellite receiver, your audio devices and all other
devices.

The manual search checks all preprogrammed codes in order to find the
code which can be used to control your device. This method may take
several minutes.
• Switch on your TV (not on standby).
• Hold down the SET key (12) and press the TV key (8) once.
• The transmission display (2) flashes.
• Let go of both buttons.
• Press the SET button (12) again.
• The transmission display (2) flashes.
• Point the universal remote control at your TV.
• Press the ON/OFF button (1) until the TV switches off.
SET
During the manual search, you can use the SET key (12) in
order to switch forward/backwards in order to find the right
code faster.
