The Bluetooth hands-free set is used for hands-free phone calls in vehicles. It is designed to be fastened
to the sun visor of a vehicle. This product is only authorised for use inside a vehicle, not outdoors.
It is possible to use the Bluetooth Visor Car Kit not only in combination with mobile phones, but also with
computers with a Bluetooth dongle, and to make free-hand VoIP phone calls in this way. The procedure
for setting up a Bluetooth connection with a computer is basically consistent with the described procedure
for a mobile phone. However, this depends on your hardware and the operating system you use.
Always avoid contact with humidity or heavy soiling.
Any use other than the one described above will damage the product. Moreover, there is a danger of, for
example, short-circuits, fire, electric shock, etc. No part of the product must be modified or rebuilt and the
housing must not be opened! Observe the safety instructions at all times!
This product meets the requirements of the current European and national guidelines. All company names
and product designations contained herein are trademarks of the respective owners. All rights reserved.

In case of any damage which is caused due to the failure to observe these operating
instructions, your guarantee will expire! We do not assume any liability for resulting
damage!
Nor do we assume liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by
improper use or the failure to observe the safety instructions! The guarantee will
expire in any such case!
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the Bluetooth Visor Car Kit is prohibited due to
safety and approval reasons (CE).
• Please also note the country-specific regulations regarding the use of this product.
• Please also observe the operating manual of the device to be used with this product.
• Do not subject the product or its equipment to humidity or extremely high or low temperatures.
• A drop, fall, pressure or tractive forces could destroy the product or at least limit its function.
• Do not leave packaging material unattended. It may become dangerous playing material for children!
• The product is not a toy and should be kept out of reach of children!
• If in doubt about how to operate the device correctly or should any questions arise that cannot be
answered with the help of these operating instructions, contact our Technical Advisory Service or
another expert.
• Other electronic devices might be impaired by the use of mobile phones or by a wireless hands-free set.
If any problems should arise with a vehicle's electronic systems during operation, please consult your
car manufacturer. Usually an interference affecting, for example, your car radio is not caused by the
hands-free set, but by the mobile phone itself. In this case you should use an external antenna.
• Please also observe the safety instructions in the individual chapters of this manual.
• If you use the charging cable in your car, be careful not to limit the operability or accessibility
of any parts of the car. In addition, moving parts (e.g. the steering column) could damage the
charging cable.
• Fasten the hands-free set to the sun visor of your vehicle only. Do not leave it lying loosely in
the car. In case of a collision or sharp braking it could turn into a dangerous missile.

Inserting/Replacing Storage Batteries
Your free-hand set is operated with 3 NiMH storage
batteries, size Mignon (AA/1.2 Volt). You can re-
charge them with the help of the cable included in
the delivery via the cigarette lighter in your vehicle
or also with the help of a standard storage battery
charger. We recommend that you occasionally re-
charge the storage batteries with a high-quality
household charger with a maintenance function for
storage batteries (e.g. Voltcraft IPC-1, Conrad item
no. 512266). In this way you can increase the
standby time of your hands-free set and the service
life of your storage batteries.
To insert or replace the storage batteries, open the
cover of the storage battery compartment (A) by
carefully pushing the grooved area outwards and
then lifting it off backwards.
Please observe the correct polarity when inserting storage batteries. The correct position
of the storage batteries is indicated by a schematic drawing inside the storage battery
compartment. Never use non-rechargeable, conventional dry-cell batteries in this device!
After inserting the storage batteries, place the cover on the storage battery compartment
and carefully push it back into place.
Recharging the Storage Batteries/Charge Level Indicator/Working Condition
To recharge the storage batteries in your car, connect the small plug of the vehicle charging cable to the
charging socket (3) of your hands-free set. Afterwards insert the larger plug into the cigarette lighter of your
vehicle. If the storage batteries are spent completely, the charging time will be approx. 3 hours. Before
taking up operation for the first time, you should charge the storage batteries for at least 6 hours. In this way,
you can increase the service life of your storage batteries.
If you recharge your storage batteries while driving, make sure that the charging
cable obstructs neither you nor parts of the vehicle.
Never use conventional batteries in your hands-free set.
Note that in most vehicles the cigarette lighter only supplies power when the ignition
is switched on.
The signal lamp (5) indicates that the storage batteries are being recharged. When the hands-free set is
switched off, the signal lamp will remain red permanently. When it is switched on, it will also show a red light,
but will turn darker approx. every 3 seconds.
When the charging process is complete, the signal lamp (5) will permanently show a green light if the hands-
free set is switched off. When it is switched on, it will also show a green light, but will turn darker approx.
every 3 seconds.
If the charging cable is not connected to the hands-free set or does not supply power, the signal lamp will
indicate the operating status of the device.
When the hands-free set is switched off, the signal lamp (5) will remain dark. When it is switched on, the
signal lamp (5) will blink approx. every 2 seconds. If it blinks green, the charging state of the storage
batteries is sufficient.
If the signal lamp (5) blinks red, an additional signal tone is emitted every 2 minutes. You should then
recharge the storage batteries as soon as possible.
Switching On/Off
For switching on the hands-free set, press the Accept Call/Hang Up button (8) and keep it pressed for
approx. 4 seconds until you hear first a low and then a high tone. At the same time, the signal lamp (5) will
light up green for approx. 1 second. Afterwards, it will blink green approx. every 3 seconds.
To switch off the device, push the Accept Call/Hang Up button (8) and keep it pressed for approx. 3 seconds
until you hear first a high and then a low tone. At the same time, the signal lamp (5) will light up red for approx.
1 second. After that the signal lamp (5) will turn dark.
Mounting the Hands-free Set in your Vehicle
This hands-free set is designed to be mounted
loosely to your vehicle's sun visor.
Clamp the hands-free set to your vehicle's sun
visor with the help of the mounting clips on the
back as indicated in the drawing.

Connecting your Phone and your Hands-free Set
This section explains the general procedure for connecting a Bluetooth hands-free
set with a Bluetooth mobile phone. However, the procedure can vary slightly
depending on the mobile phone. Therefore, please also refer to the operating manual
of your mobile phone on the configuration of equipment and keep it within easy
reach.
Using the hands-free set requires a pairwise connection with a Bluetooth-compatible mobile phone. If
during the procedure your mobile phone prompts you for your PIN, enter "0000":
1) Make sure that the storage batteries are charged up completely.
2) Switch off the hands-free set.
3) Make sure that the Bluetooth function of your mobile phone is enabled.
4) Push the Accept Call/Hang Up button (8) on your hands-free set and keep it pressed for approx. 8
seconds. After approx. 4 seconds the hands-free set will indicate that it has been switched on. After an
additional 4 seconds you will hear a signal tone. The signal lamp (5) will now blink red and green by turns.
5) Now activate the search for Bluetooth equipment on your mobile phone (consult the operating manual
of your phone for information).
6) If necessary, enter the PIN (0000) on your phone.
Usually, matching the two devices will take a few seconds. If the connection is established successfully,
the signal lamp will again blink green every 3 seconds and your mobile phone will indicate the connection.
You might have to confirm the connection again.
If the connection cannot be established successfully, both devices will be switched off. In this case, please
wait for at least 10 seconds and try again.

Phone Calls
For the following points we assume that the mobile phone and the hands-free set are switched on and that
there is a Bluetooth connection between the two devices.
Accepting a Call
When there is an incoming call you will hear the ring tone via the loudspeaker on the hands-free set. Press
the Accept Call/Hang Up button (8) briefly to accept the call. Now the signal lamp (5) will blink slightly more
quickly.
Ending a Call
Briefly press the Accept Call/Hang Up button (8) during the call. The call will be terminated and the signal
lamp (5) will again blink approx. every 3 seconds.
Rejecting a Call
To reject incoming calls, push the Accept Call/Hang Up button (8), and keep it pressed until you hear a long
audio signal.
Transferring Calls from your Mobile Phone to the Hands-free Set
During a call on your mobile phone, you can transfer it to the hands-free set by briefly pressing the Accept
Call/Hang Up button (8).
Transferring Calls from the Hands-free Set to your Mobile Phone
A transfer of a call to the phone has to be initiated on the phone. Please see the operating manual of your
phone for further details.
Muting the Microphone
When you are in a call via the hands-free set, you can mute the microphone so that the other person can
no longer hear you.
Push the Volume button "+" (7) and keep it pressed for approx. 2 seconds until you hear an audio signal.
As long as the microphone is muted, the hands-free set will sound audio signals at regular intervals.
To reactivate the microphone, once more push the Volume button "+" (7) for approx. 2 seconds until the
regular audio signals stop.
Setting the Loudspeaker Volume
While you are in a call via the hands-free set you can decrease the volume of the integrated loudspeaker
(4) by briefly pressing the Volume button "-" (6) or increase it by briefly pressing the Volume button "+" (7).
Making Outgoing Calls
It is only possible to make outgoing calls with mobile phones that support dialling via voice recognition or
with the redialling function, since this hands-free set is not equipped with a keypad.
You can also initiate phone calls from your phone and then transfer them to the hands-free set. To do this,
press the Accept Call/Hang Up button (8) on the hands-free set after dialling.
Please observe the traffic rules and laws of the country in which you are located. In
some cases even handling a mobile phone can lead to a fine!
Dialling via Voice Recognition (only for telephones with VoiceDialing Function)
If your telephone supports VoiceDialing, you can also use this function via your hands-free set.
To do this, briefly press the Accept Call/Hang Up button (8). After a short audio signal, say the calling name
of the person you would like to call which is stored in your phone. The connection will be established after
a few seconds.
Please see the operating manual of your mobile phone for further details.
Dialling via the Redialling Function
To establish a connection with the number you last dialled, push the Volume button "-" (6) for approx. two
seconds and keep it pressed. The dial-up process will be indicated by short, low audio signals.
Maintenance and Service
The product does not require any maintenance. You should never open or disassemble it. Before cleaning
the hands-free set, disconnect it from the charger.
Clean the product with a soft, dry cloth or a brush only. Never use liquids or detergents which are not suitable
for plastics. Otherwise, the surface of the housing might be affected and harmful or explosive vapours could
develop.
