Notes on possible malfunctions
If your video entryphone system should malfunction sometime, please read and
follow these notes before taking it back to your dealer.
Fault
Unit switched off (operating indicator
OFF)
Unit switched off (operating indicator
lit faintly)
No picture, no sound, monitor on
Call signal and speech working cor-
rectly, monitor active but no picture
No sound (gong) at monitor
Call signal and speech, but no video
signal

Possible cause

Mains plug not properly inserted, or
power failure
ON/OFF switch in OFF position
Short circuit in the connecting wire bet-
ween the monitor and the outdoor
camera
Cable between monitor and camera not
connected
Brightness control not set properly.
Lens covered by dirt, leaves etc.
Volume controller set to minimum.
Check connecting wire between moni-
tor and camera
Camera or monitor faulty
