Maintenance
Check the technical safety of the radio signal door chime, e.g. damage to the connection
cables or the housing, at regular intervals.
When it must be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible, the radio signal doorbell
must be put out of service and precautions must be taken to ensure that it is not used uninten-
tionally.
It must be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if
• there is visible damage to the system or to the connection leads
• the device does not work any longer
• it has been stored for long periods under unfavourable conditions
• it was subject to considerable stress during transport
Heed the following safety instructions by all means before cleaning or servicing the radio
signal doorbell:
Live components may be exposed when covers are opened or components are
removed.
Before cleaning or servicing, the device must be disconnected from all voltage
sources.
Repair work must always be carried out by qualified experts familiar with the
hazards involved and with the relevant regulations.
Disposal
Once the product becomes unusable, dispose of it in accordance with the relevant statutory
regulations.

Safety Instructions
Damage due to non-compliance with these operating instructions leads to
expiry of the warranty. We do not accept liability for consequential damage!
We do not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury
caused by improper handling or non-compliance with the safety instruc-
tions. Under these circumstances, any warranty expires.
For safety and certification (CE) reasons, unauthorised modifications and/or changes to the
wireless radio signal door chime are not permitted.
Comply with the safety and operating instructions of any other appliances that are connected
to the device.
Do not leave the packing material lying around carelessly. Plastic film and/or bags and poly-
styrene parts etc. could become dangerous toys in the hands of children.
Keep the device out of the reach of children. It is not a toy.
On commercial premises, the relevant accident prevention regulations for electrical equipment
must be complied with.

answered in the scope of these operating instructions, please contact our Technical Sup-
port or one of our other specialists.
The safety instructions in each chapter of these instructions for use must also be observed.
