The receiver does not
Is the power supply in good working order?
respond to the transmitter:
Are the batteries fully charged and are they inserted with the
positive and negative ends pointing in the right directions?
Is the code on the transmitter identical to the code on the
receiver?
Has the range been exceeded?
Is the receiver turned on?
The transmission LED on the
Has the protective foil been removed from the battery tray?
transmitter does not light up:
Are the batteries fully charged and are they inserted with the
positive and negative ends pointing in the right directions?
Reduced range:
Are the batteries for the transmitter or the receiver weak?
Is there interference with radio transmission caused by other
devices located in the immediate vicinity?
Is there interference with transmission caused by steel con-
crete walls or other electronic devices? Find a new location.
Transmission is not working:
Has the range of the system been exceeded? Reduce the
distance between receiver and transmitter.
Repairs other than those just described should only be performed by an autho-
rised electrician.

Intended Use
The purpose of the device is to function as a door chime unit or as a personal summoning sys-
tem.
The transfer between the transmitter unit and the receiver unit takes place without wires.
The transmitter is only approved for operation with a 12 V battery and the receiver for 2 C-size
batteries or operation powered by a direct current source of from 6 to 12 V at a minimum of 200
mA.
Use of the transmitter is only permitted in dry inside areas or in a protected area outdoors.
Use of the receiver is permitted in enclosed areas only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with
humidity etc., in bathrooms for example, must be avoided at all costs.
Use other than that described above will damage the product and may involve other risks, such
as short-circuit, fire and electric shock etc. No part of the product may be changed or modified
and the housing must not be opened!
