Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Dieser Türgong dient zur Tür- oder Raumüberwachung im Haus, Laden, Büro oder
Hotelzimmer, etc. Die Spannungsversorgung erfolgt durch 4 Mignonzellen á 1,5 Volt
DC oder ein Steckernetzgerät (6 Volt / 300 mA DC).
Der Kontakt mit Feuchtigkeit ist unbedingt zu vermeiden! Eine andere Verwendung
als zuvor beschrieben führt zur Beschädigung dieses Produktes!
Sicherheitshinweise
Bei Schäden, die durch Nichtbeachten dieser Bedienungsanleitung verursacht
werden, erlischt der Garantieanspruch! Für Folgeschäden übernehmen wir
keine Haftung!
Aus Sicherheits- und Zulassungsgründen (CE) ist das eigenmächtige Umbauen
und/oder Verändern des Tür-gongs nicht gestattet!
Türgong und Mignonzellen gehören nicht in Kinderhände!
Mignonzellen sind Sondermüll und gehören nicht in den Hausmüll! Die leeren
Mignonzellen können u.a. fachgerecht im Elektrofachhandel in den dafür vorgese-
henen Sammelbehältern entsorgt werden! Achten Sie darauf, daß die Mignonzellen
nicht kurzgeschlossen, ins Feuer geworfen und aufgeladen werden! In diesen Fällen
besteht Explosionsgefahr!
Wenn der Türgong längere Zeit nicht verwendet wird, müssen die Mignonzellen aus
dem Batteriefach entfernt werden, da diese auslaufen können!
Inbetriebnahme
Nachdem Sie einen geeigneten Aufstellort bestimmt haben, stellen Sie den Türgong
entweder z.B. auf ein Regal oder hängen Sie ihn an die Wand, z.B. an einen bereits
vorhandenen Bilderhaken!
Wenn Sie erst ein Loch in die Wand bohren müssen, achten Sie bitte auf evtl. vor-
handene Strom- oder andere Leitungen, die sich in der Wand befinden können!
Verwenden Sie aber dazu nur geeignetes Werkzeug, Schrauben und Dübel!
Zum Batteriewechsel, bzw. Batterieeinlegen stellen Sie den Schiebeschalter in die
Position "OFF" (Aus)!
Beachten Sie hierzu auch die Sicherheitshinweise!
Sobald der Türgong leiser wird, ohne ersichtlichen Grund einschaltet, oder andere
ungewohnte Aktivitäten zeigt, müssen die Mignonzellen gewechselt werden!
Schieben Sie dazu das Batteriefach in Pfeilrichtung auf!
Ersetzen Sie die Mignonzellen immer komplett und nur durch neue gleichen Typs!
Beachten Sie hierzu die
Polarität "+" und "-" (Kennzeichnung im Batteriefach)! Anschließend das
Batteriefach wieder verschließen!
Bei Dauerbetrieb empfehlen wir statt Batterien ein externes Steckernetzgerät (z.B.
Conrad-Best.-Nr. 512834) zur Spannungsversorgung zu verwenden!
Zum Einschalten stellen Sie den Schiebeschalter entweder auf die Position "VOL.
LOW" = mittlere Lautstärke oder auf "Vol. HIGH" = größere Lautstärke! Die rote LED
leuchtet.
Warten Sie die Aufwärmphase von ca. 10 Sekunden ab!
Der Türgong ertönt sobald, der Sensor eine Bewegung innerhalb der Reichweite (0°
von vorne ca. 5 m) registriert. Anschließend schaltet der Türgong automatisch ab
und ist danach sofort wieder betriebsbereit.
Der Sensor registriert allerdings keine Bewegungen bei absoluter Dunkelheit. Zur
einwandfreien Funktion ist mindestens eine Beleuchtungsstärke von 0,3 Lux erfor-
derlich! Vermeiden Sie darüber hinaus direkte Sonneneinstrahlung oder starke
Beleuchtung!
Zum Ausschalten stellen Sie den Schiebeschalter wieder in die Position "OFF" (Aus)!

Proper Use
This door gong monitors doors or rooms in houses, stores, offices, hotel rooms, etc.
Voltage supply is accomplished via 4 round cells type R6, 1.5 VDC each or via a
mains unit (6 Volt / 300 mA DC).
Avoid contact with moisture! A use other than the one described above damages the
product!
Safety Notes
Damages due to non-observance of these operating instructions invalidate
the guarantee claim! We do not assume liability for consequential damages!
For reasons of safety and approval (CE) unauthorised modifications and/or altera-
tions to the product are not permitted!
Keep the door gong and the round cells away from children!
Round cells are to be considered as special waste and as such do not belong in the
household waste! The empty round cells can be disposed of e.g., in specialist dea-
ler' stores in the collection boxes provided for this purpose! Do not short-circuit the
round cells, throw them into fire or recharge them! This involves explosion hazard.
If the door gong is not used for a prolonged period of time, remove the round cells
from the battery compartment as they may leak.
Commissioning
After you have selected an appropriate mounting location, you can either set up the
door gong on a shelf or hang it to a wall e.g., to an already existing wall hook!
If you have to drill a hole first, you must take care not to damage existing current
conductors or other cables behind the wall!
Use only the proper tools, screws and dowels!
To insert or replace the batteries push the sliding switch into OFF position!
For this purpose observe also the safety note!
If the volume of the door gong decreases without apparent reason turns on auto-
matically or works different than is normal, you must replace the round cells!
For this purpose, open the battery compartment by sliding the lid in the direction of
the arrow!
Always replace all round cells at a time and only by batteries of the same type!
Observe the polarity marking "+" and "-" (imprinted on the battery compartment)!
Close the battery compartment afterwards!
For non-stop operation we recommend to use an external mains unit instead of bat-
teries (e.g. Conrad item no. 512834) for voltage supply!
You turn the device on by setting the sliding switch either to "Vol.LOW" or
"Vol.HIGH"! The red LED is lit.
Let a warm-up phase of approx. 10 seconds pass!
The door gong sounds as soon as the sensor detects a movement within its range
(0° approx. 5m to the front). Subsequently, the door gong switches off automatical-
ly and is ready again.
However, the sensor does not detect movements in absolute darkness. To work pro-
perly it requires a minimum illumination of 0.3 lux. Furthermore, you must avoid
direct sunlight or powerful illumination!
Set the sliding switch to position "OFF" to deactivate the door gong!
