Regulation use of the device
CEI-8 is a radio alerting system activated by noise. The alert is
visual (the device flashes) or mechanical (the device vibrates).
The system can be used in monitoring objects such as telephones,
doorbells, and so on.
The system has been specially designed for people with hearing
difficulties, as an aid to awareness that the doorbell or phone is
ringing.
