- The product has left the factory in a perfectly safe condition. To
preserve this condition and to ensure a safe operation, the user
must absolutely observe the prescribed use and safety instruc-
tions and warnings contained in these operating instructions.
- Measuring instruments, laser devices and accessories must be
kept out of the reach of children.
- Observe the safety regulations laid down by the professional tra-
de association for electrical equipment and installations in indu-
strial and commercial facilities
- In schools, training centres, hobby and do-it-yourself workshops
the operation measuring instruments with integrated lasers and
accessories must be supervised by qualified staff.
- Only put the measuring instrument into operation when the hou-
sing, e.g. after you have replaced the battery, is securely closed
and fastened.
- Please check the outlet eye / lens and the measuring instrument
(LCD) itself for any damage before every measurement .
- Avoid operating the instrument in very damp or wet surroundings.
- Under unfavourable lighting conditions, e.g. direct sunlight, the
optical display may be difficult to read.
- For contactless measuring, only use the reflective tags, and for
contact measuring only use the enclosed adapters .
- Any mechanical deformation or electrical modification of the
measuring instrument or the laser will void the warranty, moreo-
ver, this can lead to dangerous radiation explosions.

Trouble-Shooting
With the Manual R.P.M. Counter you have acquired a state-of-the-
art product. There may be troubles or problems, nevertheless. The-
refore, we would like to explain to you how you can clear possible
troubles:

Maintenance
The Manual R.P.M. Counter is maintenance-free except for the
need to replace the battery and to clean the housing and the lens (of
the display window) from time to time. Please use a clean, fluff-free
antistatic cloth for cleaning the instrument, for cleaning the lens, use
a cotton bud or a spectacle-cleaning tissue.
Warning!
Do not use carbon-containing cleansing agents
such as benzenes, alcohol etc. as they attack the
surface of the housing. Furthermore, fumes produ-
ced are detrimental to health and explosive. Do not
use any screw-drivers or metal brushes for cleaning.
