Setting the clock

After fitting new batteries, the clock needs to be reset. This is what
you do: press the button Mode/Temp. The minute display flashes.
You can now set the minute display to the correct time by pressing
the button Set/Zero. Repress the button Mode/Temp. The hour dis-
play flashes. You can now set the hour display to the correct time
by pressing the button Set/Zero. The symbols AM (hours 1 to 12) or
PM (hours 13 to 24) are displayed left of the clock time. Keep pres-
sing the button Set/Zero until the correct clock time has been set.
Then repress the button Mode/Temp. Only the two dot separator
between minute and hour display can be seen (flashing).

Weighing mode

Press the button Clock/Scale once. This causes a reset, and all
segments are displayed.
Shortly, the display will show „0.00 kg". If not, reset the display to
zero by pressing the button Set/Zero once. Install the object to be
weighed on the hook. An arrow pointing left is displayed and there
is a beep approximately every three seconds, when the display is in
steady-state. The weight display continues to show for seven se-
conds even after the weighed object is removed from the hook.

Temperature mode

For the best results when measuring temperature, protect the devi-
ce from direct exposure to the sun and do not hold it directly (body
heat). According to the change in temperature, it may take some
moments before a relatively accurate reading is displayed. The mo-
re frequent or intensive a temperature change, the longer it will take
to achieve a stable temperature display.
To measure temperature, press the button Clock/Scale once, and
then the button Mode/Temp. The temperature (in C) is then displayed.
