Introduction

Dear Customer,
Thank you for purchasing the Electronic Balance ES-01. You have
acquired a product manufactured to state-of-the-art technological
standards. In appearance, this measuring device is comparable to
the balances anglers use for weighing fish. The Electronic Balance
is well-adapted not only to this function, but for weighing all kinds
of objects in the range from 50 g up to 8 kg max. The device also
includes a built-in thermometer, able to measure temperatures in
the range -20°C to +40°C max. A time clock is also included.
The clock provides the correct time (provided that the batteries
supply sufficient power). The balance includes three operating but-
tons for activation or resetting to zero, setting the time and enab-
ling the thermometer. However, the balance is not a precision devi-
ce and thus cannot be used in a scientific environment.
The Electronic Balance is EMC-tested and thus meets the require-
ment of current European and national guidelines. Conformity has
been demonstrated and the relevant declarations and documenta-
tion are on file at the manufacturers.
To maintain this condition and ensure safe operation, you should,
as user, carefully read these operating instructions!
