The proper operation of the Solar-Terminal includes:
• Use as a solar-driven water pump for garden ponds (or similar) via the
clip-on solar cell array with 3 or 6 solar cells.
• Operation in media other than water (e.g. oil, combustible fluids,
acids or caustic solutions) is not permissible.
• Uses other than specified are not permissible.

1. Introduction

The Solar-Terminal was developed for creating water jets in garden
ponds in daylight under optimum solar exposure. The Platform is inde-
pendent of mains power (cable-free) and includes a built-in water pump.
The water jet is according to the nozzle fitted.
The monocristalline solar cells made of silicon material convert the solar

energy received into electrical power. The water pressure level (and thus
the height of the water jet) depends on the angle of incidence of the sun
rays (the array of solar cells is positioned as perpendicular to the sun as
possible), and the intensity of the sun (or cloud density).

2. Notes on Safety

2.1 The Solar-Terminal is EMV-tested (domestic use) and meets
Guideline 89/336/EWG.
2.2 Make sure that connecting cables are neither exposed nor loose
since malfunctions or short-circuiting can result.
2.3 Check the filter periodically for dirt. At low pump delivery levels,
even with high sunlight intensity, it may be necessary to replace the
filter.
2.4 Remove the Solar-Terminal from the garden pond before winter
starts (frost!) to prevent damage from freezing.
