4 INSTALLATION AND START-UP
4.1
Charging the rechargeable battery (01)
The rechargeable battery is partially charged.
Fully charge the rechargeable battery before us-
ing it for the first time. The rechargeable battery
can be charged in any charge status. Interrupting
charging does not damage the rechargeable bat-
tery.
NOTE

ate operating instructions for the re-
chargeable battery and for the charging
unit.
4.2
Inserting and pulling out the
rechargeable battery (02)
Inserting the rechargeable battery (02/a)
1. Push the rechargeable battery (02/1) into the
rechargeable battery slot (02/2) until it en-
gages.
Pulling out the rechargeable battery (02/b)
1. Press and hold the unlock button (02/3) on
the rechargeable battery (02/1).
2. Pull out the rechargeable battery (02/1).

Installing the hand grip (03, 04)
If a hand grip belongs to your attachment:
1. When connected: Remove the attachment
(see chapter 4.4 "Connecting/disconnecting
the attachment and basic appliance (05)",
page 37).
2. Loosen the rotary knob (03/1) or spacer
(03/2) on the hand grip.
3. Optionally, the hand grip holder (03/3) or the
hand grip can be attached to the basic appli-
ance:

for larger persons with longer arms (03/a)
■
for smaller persons with shorter arms
(03/b)
