Operation with DMX controller

To control the LEDs connected via a lighting controller with DMX512 protocol, the controller is equipped with
three DMX control channels. Several units can be interconnected.

DMX connection

For the DMX connection, 3-pin XLR jacks are provided.
1 Connect the DMX controller to the DMX input DMX512 IN.
2 Connect the DMX output DMX512 OUT to the DMX input of the next controller or the next DMX-
controlled unit. Always connect one output to the input of the next unit until all units are connected.
Connect a 120 Ω terminating plug to the DMX output of the last DMX unit in the chain.

Adjusting the DMX mode and start address

To the control the controller from a DMX lighting controller, adjust the DMX start address for its first DMX
channel. The start address is adjusted as a binary number via the DIP switches.
1 Set DIP switch 10 to the upper position (OFF) to enable DMX mode.
2 The start address is will result by addition of the values of switches 1-9.
