1. Press the release buttons (Fig. 1/7) and open the
housing cover (Fig. 1/10).
2. Lift the dust container (Fig. 17/1) up out of the cylinder
vacuum cleaner.
3. When emptying the dust container, hold it low over a
dustbin.

4. Push the release button (Fig. 18/1). The base (Fig. 18/
2) opens and the dust runs into the dustbin.
5. Carefully knock the remaining dust loose.
6. Close the base.

7. Put the dust container back into the cylinder vacuum
cleaner and close the housing cover. It clicks audibly
into place.

The cylinder vacuum cleaner has the following filters:
- Central laminar filter (Fig. 19/1)
Dust and dirt particles can fix themselves to the
central laminar filter and impair the airflow.
Cleaning: To maintain performance clean the filter
after each use (ZChapter 4.1, "Cleaning the central
laminar filter").

If the central laminar filter is too dirty or it is no longer
possible to clean it, replace it with a new filter

- Protective motor filter (Fig. 19/2)
Check the motor protection filter every time you empty
the dust container.
Cleaning: If the filter is dirty, clean it as described
(ZChapter 4.2, "Checking the protective motor filter").
If necessary, replace the filter.
- Hygienic blow-out filter (Fig. 19/3)
Replacing:
"Replacing the hygienic blow-out filter").
The filters can become blocked after some time and can
thereby reduce the suction power. It is therefore important
that the abovementioned intervals are adhered to.
Replace a damaged filter immediately..
ATTENTION:
The filters are not suitable for machine washing.
