BEFORE INITIaL USE

• Remove all plastic films and packaging materials and check the device for damages.
• Clean the device as described under Cleaning and Maintenance.

INSERTING THE BaTTERIES

The scale is powered by a 3V lithium battery type CR2032.
To activate the battery, which is already inserted, remove the transparent strip before first use
from the battery compartment (5). Change the battery after the battery icon lights up on the
display:
• Open the battery compartment (5) by lifting its cover.
• Remove the exhausted battery.
• Place the new battery with the positive side (+) up in the battery compartment.
• Close the cover of the battery compartment. It must click into place.
