INTRODUCTION
With this digital kitchen scale you can precisely weigh dry and liquid ingredients. The scale has a
capacity of 5kg/11lb. The energy-saving automatic cut-off ensures long battery life.

SaFETY INFORMaTION

1. Carefully read the instruction manual before taking the device into operation. Heed all safety
warnings to avoid personal injury due to misuse.
2. If transferring this device to a third party, the user manual must also be passed on to the
recipient.
3. No liability can be accepted for any damage incurred as a result of improper use.
4. This device is not suitable for use by persons with limited physical, sensory or mental
abilities (including children), or used by persons with limited experience and/or knowledge
of this device unless they possess the relevant safety knowledge or instructions on how the
device is to be used. Children should be accompanied to ensure they do not play with the
device.
5. Do not expose the device to direct sunlight. Do not use the device in close proximity to heat-
radiating devices, such as ovens or stoves.
6. Do not use the device if it is damaged. To avoid hazards, defective components must only be
replaced by the manufacturer, his customer service or similar qualified persons.
7. Do not submerge the device in water and do not use the device in close proximity to water.
8. Never attempt to repair the device yourself. Repairs should only be carried out by qualified
persons.
9. Do not drop or impact the device.
10. Do not overload the device.
11. This product is not suitable for medical purposes or for informing the public.
This device is only suitable for private use.
Danger of suffocation! Keep all packaging material away from children.
Dispose of the packaging materials in an appropriate way. Contact your local
authorities about collection points or waste separation.

NOTES FOR BaTTERIES

Only use top-quality batteries. Cheap batteries could leak and damage the device as a
result.
If the batteries leak, remove them with a cloth and dispose of them accordingly. Ensure that
leaking battery acid does not come into contact with skin and eyes. If you do get battery acid
in your eyes, flush them thoroughly with lots of water and consult a physician immediately! If
battery acid comes into contact with your skin, wash the affected area with lots of water and
soap.
If the device is not to be used for an extended period of time, then the batteries should be
removed, as the device could become damaged should they leak. If the device functions
weaken, replace all batteries.
Batteries do not belong in household waste! Expired batteries must be disposed of in an
environmentally friendly way and according to the applicable legal regulations.
Batteries are very dangerous if swallowed. Please keep the batteries and the device
components away from children at all times. If a battery is swallowed, seek medical attention
immediately.
Batteries must not be recharged or activated with other means, dismantled, thrown into fire
or short-circuited.
Do not use old and new batteries or batteries of various types together.
Remove the batteries prior to disposing of the device.
