In the case of a full load or partial load, this drying programme is used to determine the figures on the energy label. The programme
is suitable for drying normal wet cotton fabrics and is the most efficient programme with regard to energy consumption for cotton.

Programme Explanation
The programme is suitable for drying normal wet cotton fabrics (e.g. bed linen, duvet covers, underwear

etc.)
Feinwäsche (Delicates) This programme is used to dry small loads of hard-wearing fabrics; e.g. synthetic fabrics.
The program is suitable for the woollens which can be machine washed. The fabrics are fleecy after the
Feinwäsche (Delicates) end of the program but are not yet dry. Remove washing immediately after the end of the program and
finish by air.
The timer programme is mainly intended for drying small loads of washing. It can be used to re-dry
Warm / cold
multi-ply fabrics.
Kurz (Short) The program is suitable for quick drying of heat-sensitive fabrics.
Auffrischen (Freshen up) The program is used to freshen up, air, or remove lint or creases from dry washing.
Capacity
Do not overload the appliance, otherwise the fabrics will
become stretched and drying will be impaired. The quantities
can be found in the "Drying programme table". Overloading
the appliance may lead to the appliance becoming damaged.
Please note that the manufacturer shall assume no liability in
the event of a warranty claim due to overloading.
Drum light
As soon as you open the appliance door, the inside of the drum
is lighted up to ensure that no washing is left behind when
removed. The lamp is switched on for approx. 1 minute.
Starting the dryer
• Connect the power supply.
• Put the washing into the drum.
• Switch on the appliance with the On/Off button.
• Select the desired program and the additional options.
• Press the START/PAUSE button in order to start the
programme.
Changing the drying programme
A change cannot be made after the programme has started. In
order to be able to select a new programme, you must switch
the appliance off and back on again.
Before the end of the programme
In all drying programmes, the heating phase follows a cool-
down phase of approx. 5 to 10 minutes. If the washing is not

removed after the end of this phase, the appliance runs through
an automatic anti-crease phase of approx. 30 minutes. The
control lamp KNITTERSCHUTZ flashes. Operation ends after
this phase.
Programme end
At the end of the drying cycle (before the automatic anti-crease
phase), several beeps sound; the appliance then goes into
standby mode. The display shows "-".
Switching off
• Switch off the appliance by pressing the On/Off button
• Clean the lint filter and empty the condenser water tank as
described under "Cleaning".
• To prevent unpleasant odours and to better maintain the
door seal, open the appliance door slightly until the next
drying cycle.
• Disconnect the power supply if the appliance is out of use
for long periods.
To save energy and to protect the environment, we recommend
that you follow the tips below:
• Use the maximum capacity of the respective drying pro-
gramme.
• Select the drying programme according to the type of
washing and the required level of dryness.
