• Select the desired programme and the additional options.
• Press the START/PAUSE button in order to start the
programme.
Changing the drying programme
A change cannot be made after the programme has started. In
order to be able to select a new programme, you must switch
the appliance off and back on again.

When the drying process has finished, [0:00] appears in the
display and the ENDE (End) indicator lights up. If the signal
function has been activated, an acoustic signal sequence will
sound. The control panel switches to standby mode and starts
an automatic anti-crease cycle.
Automatic anti-crease cycle
If you do not remove the clothes from the appliance after the
drying process has finished, the appliance will start the auto-
matic anti-crease cycle which will last for approx. 30 minutes.
The appliance continues rotating the drum in intervals in order
to prevent textiles from creasing. At the end of that cycle the
appliance will stop operating completely.
Switching off
• Switch off the appliance by pressing the On/Off button.
• Clean the lint filter and empty the condenser water tank as
described under "Cleaning".
• To prevent unpleasant odours and to better maintain the
door seal, open the appliance door slightly until the next
drying cycle.
• Disconnect the power supply if the appliance is out of use
for long periods.

tips for Energy saving

To save energy and to protect the environment, we recommend
that you follow the tips below:
• Use the maximum capacity of the respective drying pro-
gramme.
• Select the drying programme according to the type of
washing and the required level of dryness.
• Do not overdry the washing. This preserves your washing,
prevents creasing, and saves energy.
• Clean the filter regularly in order to prevent excessive
drying and high energy consumption.
• Ventilate the room well. The room temperature should not
exceed 35°C.

Cleaning

WARNING:
• Before cleaning or maintenance work, the device should
always turn off and disconnect the mains plug or switch
off the fuse.

WARNING:
• Allow the unit to cool down before cleaning.
• Do not use steam cleaners for cleaning the device; mois-
ture could enter electrical components. Risk of electric
shock! Hot steam could damage the plastic parts. The
device must be dry before restarting operation.
CAUtION:
Do not use a wire brush or other sharp, abrasive items.
Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners.
Cleaning the appliance housing
Clean the housing and the panel with a mild detergent or soapy
water and dry with a soft cloth.
Cleaning the door and drum
Clean the inside of the door and the drum regularly with a cloth,
approx. every three months, in order to remove dirt or fibres.
Cleaning the filter
CAUtION:
If the filter are not cleaned regularly, it may damage the
dryer.
Never use the appliance without the inserted lint filter as
well as the filter base!
Lint filter
The lint filter catches all fibres which accumulate during drying.
Clean the filter before or after each drying cycle.
• Pull the filter up to remove it.
• Unfold the lint filter.
• Wipe off the filter by hand, if necessary use a damp cloth or
clean the filter under running water.
• Dry the filter thoroughly and replace it correctly.
Filter base
Although the cleaning interval depends on the type and amount
of clothes, you should clean the filter base after every third
drying cycle.
• Loosen and open the maintenance flap.
• Open the two opposing locks.
• Pull out the filter base.
