5. Start-up operation

Charging the rechargeable battery
The rechargeable battery in the operating element must be char-
ged for at least 3-4 hours prior to first use or after not having
been used for a long time. The rechargeable heat pillow is desig-
ned for an operation of approx. 1.5 to 4 hours, after which time
the rechargeable battery must be recharged. Always charge the
rechargeable battery in the operating element at room tempera-
ture.
To do this, first connect the charger to a power outlet and then
connect it to the operating element. The rechargeable battery is
completely charged if the green LED (1) lights up. Disconnect
the charger from the power network and the operating element
from the charger.
Note: the electric heat pillow shuts off automatically after 100
minutes of continuous use. To switch the heat pillow back on, set
the operating element back to the desired temperature.
Indoor/outdoor use
The heat pillow features a smart reversing function: one cuddly
plush side to use at home and one water-repellent side for on the
go.
Readiness for operation
Connect the plug of the heat pillow to the operating element and
then insert this into the bag designed for this purpose. Set the
desired heat level (1-4) by pushing repeatedly.
Note: This heat pillow is equipped with an integrated temperature
control that regulates the temperature automatically and keeps
the heat at a constant level. The temperature of the heat pillow
corresponds to the maximum permissible value of the applicable
