When operated for a long time, it will get uncomfortably warm. This is
NORMAL and is not a defect. Any LED flashlight of similar size and performance will
produce similar amounts of heat during operation. The only way to reduce operating
heat is to SIGNIFICANTLY lower the output, or increase the size of the flashlight.
While this heating may trigger the drop reflex if an unattended hot light is picked up,
the temperature does not present a burn hazard. When used tactically for short peri-
ods of time to clear a room, check for intruders, etc., heating will not be a problem.
BATTERY WARNING: FIRE, EXPLOSION, BURN HAZARD
USE ONLY: Streamlight, Panasonic or Sanyo size CR123A; Duracell 123A, or
Energizer 123. Use of other batteries or mixing of used and new or different brand
batteries may result in leakage, fire or explosion and serious personal injury.
DO NOT recharge, misuse, short circuit, improperly store or discard, disassemble,
or heat above 212°F (100°C). Keep away from children.
Note: This product is not designed to use rechargeable CR123 batteries.

2L-X utilizes a high Lumen LED that can get very hot.
Never place the flashlight face down against a flat surface or against any flammable
object. Transport or store the flashlight in a way that minimizes the chance it can
accidentally be turned on.
BATTERY INSTALLATION/REMOVAL
Uses one 18650 rechargeable battery or two CR123 batteries. Unscrew the tail cap
and remove depleted batteries, insert fresh batteries positive end first, replace and
tighten tail cap.
18650 USB BATTERY CHARGING
The ProTac
2L-X USB system ships with an 18650 USB Li-Ion battery with

integrated charge port. Note: Fully charge battery before first use.
To charge the 18650 USB battery, insert the micro-USB plug into the connector near
the positive end of the battery. The battery may be left plugged into a micro-USB
cable continuously, there is no danger of overcharge.
LED Charge Indicators
• Charging...Red LED is on.
• Charged...Green LED is on.
Charge time is approximately 5 hours when using Streamlight AC adapters.
GENERAL OPERATION

2L-X features a programmable switch with
momentary operation (light press or tap) and constant on operation (press until
click). The light is shipped from the factory in the default High-Strobe-Low program.
• High: Tap and hold; click to lock on; click again for off.
• Strobe: Fast double-tap (within 0.4 seconds) and hold;
click to lock on; click again for off.
• Low: Fast triple-tap (within 0.4 seconds per tap) and hold;
click to lock on; click again for off.
Accessing Other Programs
The ProTac
2L-X USB/ProTac
2L-X features a TEN-TAP
programmable switch
®
®
®
allowing the user to select one of three different programs. To change to the next
program, starting from the "Off" position, tap the switch rapidly 9 times (within 0.4
seconds per tap) and hold it down the 10th time. Continue holding the switch until
the light turns off (approximately 1 second), then release the switch.
Available programs are High-Strobe-Low (Factory Default), High Only or Low-High.
Streamlight's Limited Lifetime Warranty
Streamlight warrants this product to be free of defects for a lifetime of use except
for batteries and bulbs, abuse and normal wear. We will repair, replace or refund
the purchase price of this product should we determine it to be defective. This
limited lifetime warranty also excludes rechargeable batteries, chargers, switches
and electronics which have a 2 year warranty with proof of purchase. THIS IS THE

INSTALACIÓN/EXTRACCIÓN DE LAS PILAS
Utiliza una pila recargable 18650 o dos pilas CR123. Desenrosque la base y extraiga
las pilas agotadas, inserte pilas nuevas, extremo negativo en primer lugar, vuelva a
colocar la base y apriete.
CARGA DE PILAS DEL USB 18650
El sistema USB de la ProTac
®
2L-X se envía con una pila de ión-litio para el USB
18650 con puerto de carga integrado. Nota: Cargue la pila completamente antes de
usarla por primera vez.
Para cargar la pila del USB 18650, inserte el micro enchufe USB en el conector cerca
del extremo positivo de la pila. La pila puede dejarse enchufada en un micro cable
USB continuamente, no existe peligro de sobrecarga.
Indicadores de carga LED
• Cargando...el LED rojo está encendido.
• Cargado...el LED verde está encendido.
Tarda aproximadamente 5 horas en cargarse cuando se utilizan
adaptadores de CA Streamlight.
FUNCIONAMIENTO GENERAL

constante (pulse hasta oír un chasquido). La linterna se envía de fábrica en el
programa Alto-Estroboscópico-Bajo predeterminado.
• Alto: Pulse y mantenga pulsado el interruptor; haga clic para
mantenerla encendida; vuelva a hacer clic para apagarla.
• Estroboscópico: Pulse dos veces rápidamente (no deben transcurrir más de 4
milésimas de segundo entre cada una) y mantenga apretado el interruptor;
haga clic para mantenerla encendida; vuelva a hacer clic para apagarla.
• Bajo: Pulse tres veces rápidamente (no deben transcurrir más de 4 milésimas de
segundo entre cada pulsación) y mantenga pulsado el interruptor; haga clic para
mantenerla encendida; vuelva a hacer clic para apagarla.

2L-X dispone de un interruptor programable de
diez pulsaciones TEN-TAP
®
que permite al usuario seleccionar uno de entre tres
programas diferentes. Para cambiar al siguiente programa, comenzando desde la
posición de apagado, pulse el interruptor con rapidez 9 veces (no deben transcurrir
más de 4 milésimas de segundo entre cada pulsación) y mantenga pulsado el
interruptor la décima vez. Mantenga el interruptor pulsado hasta que se apague la
luz (aproximadamente 1 segundo); a continuación, suelte el interruptor.

etc., la chaleur ne sera pas un problème.

MISE EN PLACE ET/OU RETRAIT DE PILES
Utilise une pile rechargeable 18650 ou deux piles CR123. Dévisser l'embout et
retirer la ou les piles déchargées, insérer des piles neuves, extrémité positive en
premier, remettre l'embout en place et serrer.
CHARGE DE PILE USB 18650
Le système ProTac
®
2L-X USB est expédié avec une pile Li-Ion USB 18650 avec
un port de charge intégré. Remarque : Charger complètement la pile avant la toute
première fois.
Pour charger la pile USB 18650, insérer la micro-fiche USB dans le connecteur près
de l'extrémité positive de la pile. La pile peut être laissée branchée dans un câble
micro-USB en permanence, il n'y a aucun risque de surcharge.

• Chargée...DEL verte est allumée.
Le temps de charge est approximativement de 5 heures en utilisant les adaptateurs
CA Streamlight.
