- RGB: In general, this gives the best possible video picture quality on a TV
set connected via SCART.
- CVBS: Some TV sets may not support RGB. Choose CVBS if you TV
does not support RGB.
- COMP HD: Please select this format only, if the connection is made by
component out (YPbPr).
- COMP SD: Please select this format only, if the connection is made by
component out (YPbPr).
• Aspect ratio: Choose whether you TV is 4:3 or 16:9 (widescreen).
• Display Format: If you select the display aspect ratio of TV as "4:3", then
also the preferred aspect ratio conversion scheme for cases in which the
transmitted programme is in 16:9-format can be chosen. The options are:
- Pan & Scan: The receiver will adapt the 16:9 signal to fit on a 4:3 TV.
- Letterbox: In this mode the original aspect ratio of the 16:9 input video
signal is preserved, thus there are vertical black bars on the top and
bottom of the screen.
- Ignore: Use this setting, if your TV set handles the aspect ratio
conversion.
• Resolution: The available resolutions are: 576p, 720p, 1080i and 1080p (by
choosing 1080p you will have to confirm your choice by pressing 1 on the
remote control as it is not all TVs that supports 1080p)
• AC3: This is the optical digital sound output. Choose between: Off, SPDIF
and SPDIF + HDMI.

In this menu is it possible to determine the time before entering automatic
standby.
You can adjust the display time (time of
the appearing of the info bar) and the
transparency of the menus.
