ALAN 120 ESP D80
Your 80 channel Mobile CB represents the state-of-the art in high-tech engineering. Designed for 80
FM/12 AM channels Citizen Band Mobile operation, this compact package is big in performance. It is a
quality piece of electronic equipment, skilfully constructed from the finest components. The circuitry is a
solid-state, mounted on rugged printed circuit boards. It is designed for many years of reliable, trouble-
free performance. Your mobile CB has a built in 80 FM / 12 AM channels Phase-Locked Loop synthesiser
circuit.
The PLL circuit achieves a new technique for generating all required frequencies with fewer crystals.
The result is much tighter frequency control and superior reliability.
The most remarkable feature of the ALAN 120 ESP beside the sensational ESP 2 noisekiller is its high
performance front-loudspeaker. A high-quality loudspeaker playback is ensured by mounting it at the
front, as it is to be found otherwise only in professional transceivers. Thanks to its small dimensions the
ALAN 120 ESP2 can be installed at an available installation slot in the car.
Equipped with mounting bracket, microphone holder, microphone with up/down-buttons, manual

3. [ESP] ESP 2-Noisekiller
The ESP 2 is fulfilling two functions at the same time.
In the first function the ESP 2 reduces the annoying noise and cracking with the receipt of very weak
signals. The second function begins if a stronger signal is received. Here the ESP 2 switches on
automatically an active bandpass filter which suppresses a still existing noise and cracking. Thus
the voice/modulation will be emphasised clearly from the background noises.
