5. CONNECTIONS

P Place the transmitter near your television set or hi-fi system.
For optimum receiving please follow these instructions:
Maintain a line-of-sight between the transmitter and receiver antennas, if possible. Avoid placing
transmitter and receiver where metal or other dense materials may be present.
Avoid placing the receiver near computers or other RF generating equipment.
P Connect the transmitter with the supplied RCA cable to the AUX output of your television set or hi-fi system
or use a cable with 1/4" plug to connect it to a headphone socket of any other audio source.
Don't use both audio inputs simultaneously as this could damage your WHP-800 or your audio source.
Please either use the stereo RCA jacks or the 3.5 mm jack.
P Plug the connection cable of the power-unit into the DC connector of the transmitter. Plug the power unit
into your outlet. Please disconnect from the mains when the device is not in use for a longer period.
P Use the Power switch to turn on the receiver. Adjust the volume between 0 and 10. Tune in the
headphones to the frequency of the transmitter.
P Only use 2 x 1.5 V Micro batteries or 2 x 1.2 V rechargeable batteries (type AAA). We recommend NiMH
rechargeable batteries.
