4 Anschlüsse
Alle Anschlüsse nur bei ausgeschaltetem Gerät vor-
nehmen oder verändern.
In der Abb. 3 ist als Beispiel der Anschluss mit
zwei Kameras und einem zweiten Monitor dargestellt.
4.1 Kanal CH 1
1) Die Signalquelle (z. B. Über wachungskamera,
Video-Split ter) an die Buchse VIDEO IN (7) und
an die Buchse AUDIO IN (10) an schließen.
Ist an der Signalquelle für das Videosignal ein
Y/C-Ausgang (S-Video) vorhanden, sollte wegen
der besseren Wiedergabequalität die Buchse Y/C
(11) statt der Buchse VIDEO IN verwendet werden.
2) Mit dem Schalter SOURCE (12) die Buchse an -
wählen, an welcher der Videoausgang der Sig-
nalquelle angeschlossen ist:
Y/C für die Y/C-Buchse (11)
CH 1 für die BNC-Buchse VIDEO IN (7)
3) Sollen zur parallelen Überwachung mehrere Mo -
nitore aufgestellt werden, immer die Buchsen
OUT (8, 9) mit den Buchsen IN (7, 10) des näch-
s ten Monitors verbinden. Alternativ kann ein
Videorecorder für Aufnah men an die Buchsen
OUT angeschlossen werden.
Wichtig: Kein unbenutztes Kabel in der Buchse
VIDEO OUT stecken lassen, sonst arbeitet die
automatische Impedanzumschaltung (75 Ω/hoch -
ohmig) für den Videoeingang nicht korrekt.
4.2 Kanal CH 2
Der Kanal CH 2 kann z. B. zum Anschluss einer
zweiten Kamera verwendet werden oder zum Be -
trachten von Videorecorder-Aufnahmen. Der An -
schluss erfolgt an die Buchsen CH 2 (13) und ist mit
dem Anschluss für den Kanal CH 1 identisch. Ein
Y/C-Eingang ist jedoch nicht vorhanden.
4 Connections
All connections must be made or changed only with
the unit switched off.
Fig. 3 shows the connection of two cameras and
a second monitor as an example.
4.1 Channel CH 1
1) Connect the signal source (e. g. surveillance
camera, video splitter) to the jack VIDEO IN (7)
and to the jack AUDIO IN (10).
If the signal source for the video signal is pro-
vided with a Y/C output (S-Video), jack Y/C (11)
should be used instead of jack VIDEO IN
because of the better reproduction quality.
2) With the switch SOURCE (12) select the jack the
video output of the signal source is connected to:
Y/C for the Y/C jack (11)
CH 1 for the BNC jack VIDEO IN (7)
3) If several monitors are to be set up for parallel
monitoring, always connect the jacks OUT (8, 9)
to the jacks IN (7, 10) of the next monitor. Alter-
natively, it is possible to connect a video recorder
for recordings to the jacks OUT.
Important: Do not leave an unused cable in the
jack VIDEO OUT, otherwise the automatic im -
pedance selection (75 Ω/high impedance) for the
video input will not operate correctly.
4.2 Channel CH 2
Channel CH 2 can e. g. be used for connection of a
second camera or for viewing recordings of the
video recorder. The connection is made to the jacks
CH 2 (13) and is identical with the connection for
channel CH 1. However, a Y/C input is not provided.
4.3 Power supply
Finally connect the supplied mains cable to the
mains jack (6) of the monitor first and then to a
socket (230 V~ / 50 Hz).
4.3 Stromversorgung
Zum Schluss das beiliegende Netzkabel zuerst in
die Netzbuchse (6) des Monitors stecken und dann
in eine Steckdose (230 V~/50 Hz).
5 Bedienung
1) Den Monitor mit dem Schalter (5) einschalten.
Die Be triebsanzeige (4) leuchtet.
2) Mit der Taste INPUT (3) zwischen Eingangskanal
CH 1 und CH 2 wählen. Oben rechts im Bild-
schirm wird der ge wählte Kanal und die Farb-
norm der Signalquelle kurz eingeblendet (Abb. 1).
Liegt kein Eingangssignal an, wird „AUTO" statt
der Farbnorm angezeigt.
3) Zur optimalen Bildeinstellung die Taste FUNC (2)
drücken. Auf dem Bildschirm wird die Einstell -
skala für den Kontrast eingeblendet (Abb. 1). Mit
den Tasten VOL (1) den Kontrast einstellen.
Einige Sekunden nach dem letzten Tastendruck
blendet sich die Skala wieder aus.
4) Durch wiederholtes Drücken der Taste FUNC
werden nacheinander weitere Skalen aufgeru-
fen, über die sich das Bild mit den Tasten VOL
einstellen lässt:
CONTRAST Kontrast
BRIGHT
Helligkeit
COLOR
Farbsättigung
TINT
Farbton
SHARP
Bildschärfe
5) Zum Einstellen der Lautstärke warten, bis sich
die zuletzt aufgerufene Skala ausgeblendet hat.
Dann die Taste VOL– oder VOL + be tätigen. Die
Lautstärkeskala VOLUME wird eingeblendet.

5 Operation
1) Switch on the monitor with the switch (5). The
operating indication (4) lights up.
2) Select input channel CH 1 or CH 2 with the button
INPUT (3). The selected channel and the colour
standard of the signal source are shortly inserted
on the top right of the screen (fig. 1). If no input
signal is present, "AUTO" is shown instead of the
colour standard.
3) Press the button FUNC (2) for optimum picture
adjustment. The adjusting scale for the contrast
is inserted in the screen (fig. 1). Adjust the con-
trast with the buttons VOL (1). The scale will be
extinguished a few seconds after the buttons
have been pressed the last time.
4) By repeated pressing of the button FUNC, further
scales are successively called which allows to
adjust the picture with the buttons VOL:
CONTRAST
BRIGHT
brightness
COLOR
colour saturation
TINT
SHARP
picture sharpness
5) For adjusting the volume wait until the scale last
called is extinguished. Then press the button
VOL- or VOL+. The volume scale VOLUME will
be inserted.
