The guarantee/warranty will expire if damage is incurred resulting from non-compliance with
these operating instructions. We do not assume liability for any consequential damage.
We do not assume any liability for property damage or personal injury resulting from improper
handling or non-observation of the safety information. The warranty/guarantee will expire in
such cases.
Dear Customer: The following safety information is intended not only for the protection of the device but also
for the protection of your health. Please read the following items carefully:
• Unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product are not permissible for safety and
approval reasons (CE).
• All persons operating, installing, setting up, commissioning or servicing this device must be trained
and qualified accordingly and observe these operating instructions.
• The voltage source for the device must be a proper mains socket (230 V/50 Hz or 115 V/60 Hz) of
the public mains grid.
• Ensure proper commissioning of the device. Observe the operating instructions for it.
• When setting up the product, make sure that the mains cable is not pinched or damaged by sharp
edges.
• Do not touch the mains cable if it is damaged. First, power down the respective mains socket (e.g.
via the respective circuit breaker) and then carefully pull the mains plug from the mains socket. Do
not operate the product anymore afterwards, but take it to a specialist workshop.
• This product is not a toy and not suitable for children. Children cannot judge the dangers involved
when handling electrical devices.
• Do not place any containers with liquids, e.g. buckets, vases or plants, in direct proximity of the
product. Liquids may enter the device and impair its electrical safety. There also is a great danger
of fire or potentially fatal electrical shock! If this is the case, first power down the respective mains
socket (e.g. switch off circuit breaker) and then pull the mains plug from the socket. Disconnect all
cables from the device. Do not operate the product anymore afterwards, but take it to a specialist
workshop.
• Never touch the mains plug with wet or damp hands. There is a risk of potentially fatal electric shock!
• Make sure the device is sufficiently ventilated when in operation. Never cover the device with any
magazines, blankets, curtains, etc. keep a minimum distance of 15cm from any other objects.
