Before cleaning or servicing the subwoofer, always observe the following safety information:
Opening covers or removing parts may expose live parts.
Therefore, the device must be disconnected from voltage completely before maintenance or
repair.
Capacitators in the device may still be charged even after it was disconnected from all voltage
sources.
Repair must only be performed by a specialist familiar with the associated risks and the relevant
regulations.
a) Fuse Replacement
If the fuse must be replaced, observe that only fuses of the indicated type and rated current (see Technical Data) must
be used.
Fuses must not be mended and the fuse holder must not be bridged.
• After the device is disconnected from the mains (pull mains plug!), carefully remove the fuse holder (9) with the
defective fuse by turning it with a suitable screwdriver.
• Remove the defective fuse and replace it with a fuse of the same type.
• Now turn the fuse holder (9) with the new fuse carefully back into its mount in the device.
• Only then must the device be connected to the mains again and activated.

b) Cleaning

Only clean the subwoofer's outside with a soft, dry cloth or brush.
Never use any aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions. They may damage the casing surface.
