Cleaning / Maintenance

Our measurement probes are precision devices which operate fault-free when
carefully handled. If you comply with the handling instructions contained in the
operating instructions, your probes will remain in a serviceable condition, and
only as such can they guarantee reliable operation of the measurement system.
Each measurement probe has its own specified operating range and is only to be
used for this.
Should faults occur, please do not attempt to open the probe to carry out the
repair yourself, but always have repairs carried out at our after-sales service
agent.
General handling tips:
- Protect the probe against violent vibration and shocks
- Do not kink the connector cable (risk of cable break)
- Never bring hard objects into contact with the rotating impeller wheel.
- Always clean the probe according to the cleaning instructions:
- Never immerse the probe in solvent
- Never blow out the probe with compressed air
- Allow heated high temperature probes to cool slowly, never quench in cold
water or similar.
