3. Press the Set button.
4. Dial the telephone number (max. 16 digits).
5. Press the button of your choice (M1-M6).
6. Put down the receiver or press de speaker button again.
7. Put the PROG ON/OFF switch on position OFF .
8. Note down the information on the index card.
While programming a number, you can answer an incoming call by putting the
PROG ON/OFF switch on position OFF and picking up the receiver.
To call a direct memory number, pick up the receiver and press directly the but-
ton of your choice (M1-M6).
To call a indirect memory number, pick up the receiver, press the memory but-
ton and press the button of your choice (0-9).The programmed number will be
dialled automatically.
4.4. PAUSE SETTING
The Pause button is used to program a pause of 3.5 seconds in the memory
numbers, if necessary (for example behind a telephone exchange or PABX).
Procedure to program a pause in a memory number :
1. Put the PROG ON/OFF switch on position ON.
2. Press the speaker button or pick up the receiver.
3. Press the set button.
4. Dial the number ( for example 0) to request for the external line.
5. Press the pause button* (a pause of 3,5 seconds is inserted).
6. Dial the telephone number.
7. Press the set button followed by a memory place number (0-9 or M1-M6).
8. Press the speaker button again or put down the receiver.
* REMARK : THIS BUTTON CAN BE USED IN TWO W AYS :

As a redial button, if it is the first button that is being pressed.

As a pause button, if this is programmed in a memory number.

4.5. TEMPORARY MEMOR
Y
You have the possibility to save a telephone number during a conversation in
a temporary memory.
Proceed as follows :
1. Pick up the receiver or press the speaker button.
2. Dial the telephone number (max. 32 digits).
3. Press the temporary memory button.
4. Put back the receiver.
In order to recall this telephone number, pick up the receiver and press the
temporary memory button.
4.6. MUTE BUTTON
When you press the Mute button during your conversation, your partner can
no longer hear you as long as you keep this button pressed.
The display shows the symbol
which indicates that the Mute function is
activated.
To continue the conversation, press the Mute button again and the symbol
will no longer be visible on the display.
4.7. R BUTTON
The R button, also called flash or recall. This button generates a line interrup-
tion. It gives you the possibility to use special telephone services.
This button can also be used to transfer phone calls when you have a tele-
phone exchange. Put the AGC ON/OFF switch on position OFF .
4.8. LAST NUMBER REDIAL
The last number dialled on the keypad is saved. If you wish to redial this num-
ber, pick up the receiver and press the redial button : the last number dialled
will be redialled automatically.
4.9. HANDSFREE CALLING
When you want to make a call handsfree, press the speaker button. As soon as
you hear the dialling tone, dial the telephone number and you can have a con-
